I think the criticism on glasses was her on a personal preference and not legit compared to her other critiques. Glasses get stylized to fit fashion styles but are mainly a necessity for some people and are more utility than fashion, contacts are good if you can or if they work for you but if you need corrective lenses then go with your preferred method. Most people I know who need corrective lenses use both contacts and glasses, and use them in different settings. I have 20/20 vision though so I shouldn’t have this detailed of an opinion on this lady’s hatred for glasses. Cuz as long as we are being low key she fucking hates glasses.

I knew that if she criticizes him on at he will probably go off on her or like he did passive aggressive tell her that she is wrong, he knows better, the game sucks, bye. I don’t like people like him. I never can get close to such people. I had people tell me to my face that my long hair looks bad. And I also said to them okay that’s your opinion I will still keep it that way because I like it. Nowadays I have cut it off because it really took to long to dry after taking a shower and I sweat a lot when doing any physical work and I always looked like It was pouring outside but in reality I just sweat a lot. Criticism is good. It helps us improve as persons. I love to hear criticism because I am full of self doubt and always am unhappy with what I deliver. And when I don’t get criticized for it that means okay I did enough. I was good. And if I get criticized I know that I did something bad. And that I can improve. @K Brunson lol idk who hurt you but I'm sorry that they never apologized and made right by you. Again, she said "the world would like you thinner" not some ANTM "you're fat" stuff. She isn't wrong, traditionally the world favors thinner/fit people. Dude seemed comfy in his skin and shrugged it off like "I like me as is and I prolly could go down a couple pant sizes but right now I'm good". Only recently have "we" been all about curves and thicc everything. I recognize being right is very important to you but I can't help you in my comment section. I'm sorry I couldn't give you the drama and name calling and trolling antics that you were expecting by pushing up on my comment 🤷. I'm still a big fan of wording. How one says things is important. The intent of the statement is also important. 💆🧘🙆

Sometimes in life, someone's gotta be a bit rude and honest with you. People did that with me. They said I had a hunchback, that I was skin on bones, and that I had no clothing and hair style. It hurt, but I knew they might just have a point. I had no idea as a young oblivious computer nerd. After the critique, I fixed my posture, started lifting weights, fixed my diet, baught some decent fitting clothes with matching colors and got a haircut at a different barber. These 'rude' people are some of the most helpful people in my life. Forever grateful.

I love this woman. I could have used her when I was young. Hell, I'm sure I still could. But when I was younger I never understood why I got picked on so much, not just by people in my school, but by random strangers. I could be walking down the sidewalk and people would stop their cars in the middle of the road to give me crap. I'm sure people thought they were being nice by not saying anything to me, but if someone like this would have given me some easy suggestions like "do this with your hair, and for goodness sake stop wearing clothes 10 sizes too big for you", it would have saved me a heck of a lot of trouble.

The thing is, this is an opinion. I understand being blunt, I am very blunt myself but understand that your opinion is not always necessary. Sometimes people don’t want your opinion and understand that it is just that. No opinion is fact. And beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder.

As she said to improve your looks you got to have confidence and she's telling both genders about it since we need it as bodyshaming has grown a lot these days even though its mainly females that does it. Its nice to see at leasta fair treatment going on to let everyone know that being super pretty doesn't really get you anywhere then an average person going somewhere for success.

I love her candidness. Yesterday I started reading a book and it said that difficult messages are like hand grenades. You can sugarcoat them, throw it hard or soft, keep it to yourself, but in the end it is still a hand grenade (with the pin pulled). So best to give it straight instead of putting all the stuff around it and to not continue throwing after it has been delivered. She did that very well by being direct and not arguing with people who clearly wanted to argue.
