It depends whether you have grown up eating liver or not, my family has eaten liver from I was a child and over half my family won't eat it, the rest of us eat it, but it's down to how well it's cooked. My mum will cook it and literally all 4 of us will happily dig in, I cook it and my brother won't eat it, yet mum and i both cook the same way and often we will cook it together

Ik I am super late but whatevs! 🙄 I am a Cali girl too but my Mama raised me and she's from the South and Paternal Grandparents are from Texas. The whole time I was screaming and laughing. I was waiting for you to grab some things like black eyed peas and rice, hell any of the beans, yams. Also, around here chicken gizzards ACTUALLY HAVE chicken livers in them! 😕😳😄 So, yeah. I always feel a certain way watching someone outside the culture eat our food but it wasn't too uncomfortable. I grew up cooking all of this and so much more with my family and it was a treat to see you enjoy our food! I knew that your ass was going to get super full, super fast, though. Enjoy and try it at a black restaurant in the south, if you can find one, there is a difference.
