I can’t wait because it will confirm my belief that I need to buy a third bass synth :)

Why not buy all bass synths? Who's complaining?!

Three won't satisfy that feeling. Sorry. I have concluded that you need five, so I only need to buy one more. No, wait, I think I need six.

Have to say there are some very helpful quantize settings in the RK008 to snap those bass notes to a grid matching your kicks or whatever. If you go into the quantize menu and select a timebase (also try tapping multiple times for alternate options) you can snap that realtime recorded note-on -and/or- note-off events to the right matching time. There are even options to get the most out of a phat monophonic bass synth like your Moog 😊

Another good one.. Atm I’m struggling with loudness and master of hardware for live and techno live effects pedals. Trying to work out best way to go and still try and be compact …

Go back and retrace your steps. Start softer and build it up. When it comes to performing, someone else will make you sound loud. You should focus on sounding clear and clean where it matters

Great advices as always. Question: If you play a longer Live set do you play it from the beginning and continuily develope the basic start set by twisting the knobs and mute things, etc.? Or do you have say 4-5 different pre-prepared basic tracks (say drum and bass) and chance them after a while with or whithout a breack?
@AnalogKitchen6 ай бұрын
I play it from the start and build it up. There are a few things I can do when I perform. But the crowd shows you what they’re ready for and therefore how much leeway I have

Maybe you were expecting a more explicit tutorial, a step by step guide on how to do exactly this or that, it is all good but A. K. has his own style, focuses on and tries to convey more the meaning of the actions, the goals of the choices. And he does it mainly by example, what you call "showing off" I call teaching by example.
