Aaron, Aaron Aaron ... every time you are addressing my prayer, my concerns in my heart . I wish you could see how God is using you ! Every fear of loss you mentioned is exactly what's keeping me stuck ! And my Loss before these fears of other losses I can't seem to let go of. I hope to be able to email again soon I will be able to explain in more detail! Brother were walking similar walks, YOUR A BLESSING ,your Continuing trials I believe are simply trials that you will experience to be able to help others find the answers to the one they are dealing with. I'm telling you aaron god is doing something big so don't fear these trials because they are a gift to you and others.

Praying for you Geoffrey! I lost my beloved cat last year (after years of many other losses/betrayals-family, friends, money, etc.). My sweet cat had been a faithful companion through so much, and it was a shattering experience. The Lord has helped me through it, but it has not been easy at all, nor have I always done as well as I should have in handling it (and other trials). I wish I had verbally surrendered my cat to the Lord before he passed. I recommend you do that. God bless you!

@@daughterofgod3721 My little sweetheart has been with me through a lot too. She's still alright mentally but she hasn't been eating. The veterinary work has been inconclusive, they think maybe there's something with her heart. It's so hard to know what to do. I've got an appointment Friday with a cardiologist. I'm praying she makes it through to then. Otherwise I could take her into a different emergency clinic to have her heart scanned, but that really seems like it could go alright or very poorly based on Google reviews and I'm not sure it's the right thing to do. The fact that she's still all there but just not eating makes putting her down feel wrong unless there's really nothing that can be done.

Hi Lu, some of us may never find out in this life. As it was for Job, God sometimes does not tell us why, but instead desires for us to trust in His wisdom and love for us no matter the circumstance. In these cases, I find it more helpful to dwell on what we do know about God instead of the things we cannot know.

Hi, Lu, Brother Aaron, I hope all is well. I just want to share that I also have this outstanding question in my head about the story of Job. People kind of relate to his sufferings and loss, and people would like to think that we are him in his story, but I also wondered, what about the story of his children who died so Satan could test him, what about his servants who were killed. Did they serve their purpose when they died the way they did. I can't help but relate them to my family who doesn't know the Lord, who doesn't have a relationship with the Lord, and who doesn't even have any interest (or calling) to have a relationship with Him. Were Job's prayers for them enough for them to be saved? Am I ministering to my family enough for them to know Jesus? I agree with what Brother Aaron said, that it's a matter of choice to keep our faith. Though salvation is a gift, it still requires free will for people to choose it every single second. God naturally gave me the heart to love and care for my family and I know that God is also the one who gives me the urge to keep praying for them despite how hopeless it seems for them to come to know the Lord. And though my questions remain unanswered, I have comfort in knowing and believing that God loves them, too, more than I can ever love them. Whether they end up being saved or not, it's enough for me to know that Jesus died not for those who are already saved, but for the wicked to try and save them (Mark 2: 17) and that though we might not physically see it, that He has done and is doing the absolute divine effort to try and save them.
