Just to show you how different interpreters would translate this (Бяхте ли на почивка?) running it through the Bing Translator (Microsoft) produces this in English (Were you on rest?). If you put in the word Holiday in the translator by itself, the translation is: Празник. See explanation at 8:04

One remark: “студент” is not an equivalent of the word “student”… “student” is translated as ученик (if it is a boy) or ученичка (if it is a girl)… “студент” means a student studying at a university..

Just a word about words that can be nouns or verbs. Example in English is: I am at work, and I work. In Bulgarian the word работа is the noun for Work. But you can conjugate it as a verb for various persons. I work: You work: He works: We work: You (formal) work: They work: Работя. Работиш. Той работи. Ние Работим. вие работите. Те работят So it's not a different word in English. But in Bulgarian the ending determines the person doing the verb

33:40 it is the same but it's an outdated word and no one really uses ut except for old people or maybe in certain regions, in villages and small towns. You can say "веднъж, дваж" - once, twice. But you can't use it in a sentence in the place of "two times"., we always just say два пъти"

Why the two different verbs for "Shout"?
@RaniVeluNachar-kx4lu

Any reason for using one or the other words for "shout"? When I put the English into the Bing translator: I shout. You shout too much. The algorithm produces the following output: Викам. Крещиш твърде много. Is there a reason why one would use one or the other?

bad explanations, right in the beginning it says personal pronouns, you= ti, then while it is still pronouns second page it again shows you as 'vie', no explanation? it does the same thing with verbs, not explaining what is difference between first screen and second screen why you are is ти си and then suddenly Вие сте bad explanations makes it hard to learn an already ilogical series of conjugations, please explain why it is different so people can understand when to use which form. eventually I figured it out, when it came to verbs past tense, suddenly she mentions the second screen is plural, i think they just forgot to put it in for pronouns and verbs and it was very confusing. for something that is already hard to figure out, things like this make it even harder

Thank you for the time you spend to write the lengthy comment. Maybe you should have invested that time to watch some of the other videos so you can find the answers to your questions. This video is not meant to explain all the grammar for only 45 minutes.

I took the time because if I struggle with it other people will too, you obviously know your subject so well you wouldn't notice something small but critical missing because to you it is obvious, I am explaining to you to help you too, to explain what threw me when I tried to use your video, if you do not appreciate feedback fine, but dismissing feedback because I should study other things to make this make sense is illogical for a video that is an introduction to the rules of grammar, so before I watch the introduction I must first master it, OOOOOr maybe when you make a list just show it to someone who doesn't speak Bulgarian and see if it makes sense?@@bulgarianlanguageacademy2587
