As Guru Pali Chandra mentioned in the video, you may use 25 to 50 depending on how long you have been practicing and the strength of the ankles. But what matters more is practicing constantly. It's the only way through which you achieve perfection.

I had danced when I was 10 and had to leave it because I moved to Canada, now that I'm 19 I was so determined to start back. Although, till today's date I'm unable to coordinate my hand movements with leg movements. I'll get there, hopefully. :)

Start with 75 .. build and tone your muscles. Be ready to dance. You need to prepare your mind and body to dance. As age progresses...we need to be more and more aware and alert. Avoid injury. Very important.
