NOTAMS! This is just my attempt to tell you about NOtices To AirMen, WHY ARE THEY NEEDED and WHAT ARE VARIOUS CLASSIFICATIONS of NOTAM's.
I've tried to cover NOTAMS with respect to Indian Aviation. This is a two-part video series. So in the 2nd part, I would be covering 'How to Decode a NOTAM'.

How pilots come to know about notam. What paper is provided to them. Do they come to know during startup.

The Notams are provided by the ATC to the airlines(provided it's a scheduled airlines) and then the airline sends a mail to all pilots or it could be found at the dispatch office. If you're flying for a non schedule, it's the duty of the pilot to know what are relevant notam. It could be found at aim-india.aai.aero/notam-summaries This is one of the pre flight documents which is used to prepare for your flight. So it's done way before before even going towards your plane.
