I enjoy the delivery of your videos; the pace is perfect, not rushing to cram everything in to quickly. Well done

I have one of these, great rifle. I am 15 stone and six foot two and have no problems using it. Yes I often shoot off a rest when I need to, I am a bench rest shooter as well and enter competitions with my Anschutz .22. Some people on here are very ignorant and dismissive of what other shooters do. I had an Air Arms S510 with a walnut stock, it looked lovely, but it threw shots 1/2” out of the group even after I got it regulated, an FX is probably three times the price of the CLX, but if it suits you, then fair enough, but don’t go slagging off other people’s choices and style of shooting. Smartarse.

Looking forward to watching. I have a CLX pro and it’s lovely to handle. Be interesting to see if they show the new larger magazines.

The new larger magazines are mentioned at the 3:10 mark 👍

I have been skeptical of BSA's offerings over the last few years - holding off on buying the Ultra for some time because of the bolt action, but I've actually ordered one of these from my local RFD this week because of the side lever. Now, if they offered slapped their inline regulator onto this for another £100 (yes, I know the wilderness pro edition is regulated,but that's over a grand) to squeeze another magazine or two out of it - it would be a real winner. You could call it the 'CLX SL-R'.

Right, the invention of the thumb screw from the "take down"model was just a joke. Buy a S410/510 than you have the ultimate hunting PCP or just a quality springer like the HW35. Cheers!

Had an R10 brand new. Pepper laminate. Regulator problems.... How?! How can the regulator STILL be an issue? Offered an R12. Im sorry but that quality control put me off spending over £1k on one..

Id like to see the forearm on the stock longer..it's too small for me.. also I'd like to have an adjustable butt pad fitted..and also a silencer as standard..
@rapalaron63484 күн бұрын
i totally agree. the stock sucks. Why stippling in front of the trigger? for midgets.....BSA is not listening to hunters but just going for the cosmetic and compact hype and is certainly not a hunters dream. Same with the Daystate Wolverine 2, nonsense stippling just in front of the trigger and than in also done in a groove?? 😆😆😆

NO, the CLX not the ultimate hunter and certainly not the hunters dream... A hunting rifle has a full length stock suitable for good and comfortable off hand shooting. What is that stippling just in front of the trigger for? For midgets? The front end should be at least 4 inches longer....For example the AirArms S410/510 and the FX DRS Classic have a superb stock for comfortable off hand shooting and accurate shot placement. The BSA CLX is for the modern bipod and trigger stick "hunters" with no off hand shooting skills. If i,m in the woods i don't carry more than a gun binoculars and a small backpack and more than 90% of the shots have to be off hand or with some support of a tree or branch. Shooting squirrels on a feeder from a chair in shelter or pigeons using a bipod from the hood of a car is not hunting but nothing more than target shooting on living quarry.

Best scrap available. Total unreliable. Had 3 BSA everyone had major issues. And all they is build a new rifle with same inherent issues Quality Control. Never ever again will part with any money for a BSA or its cousins.

Agree. The truth hurts but has to be told. A lot of guys can spend their money only once on a PCP, then it should be a good one 👍

BSA guns should be consigned to the history books, just like their bikes. The Ultra CLX is a load of overpriced garbage. Spend your hard earned on something else.
