All You NEED TO KNOW About the NEW BTR Questline!

I've done a lot of trial and error with this BTR spawns and route - Currently i have found the BTR had two spawn points. 1 - at Power line Extract, 2 - Scav Bunker, 50% chance to spawn at either, if the BTR is in your raid it'll start moving at 5 minutes into raid, Follows two routes - Route 1 - USEC Checkpoint -> Saw Mill -> Junction -> Old Saw Mill -> Train Depot -> Emercom Base -> Ending at Saw Mill. Route 2 - USEC Checkpoint -> Saw Mill -> Scav Bunker -> Sunken Village -> Old Saw Mill -> Train Depot -> Ending at Saw Mill *Note on this Route BTR DOES NOT stop at Emercom Base* If another PMC gets on the BTR Before you it WILL NOT stop until it reaches its destination. - Hope this helps anyone having an issuing finding the BTR

Mortars are actually back in the game but they must be at a really low percentage change of occuring, at least on PvE. I had them occur at the start of a Woods Night raid but they only occurred once for that entire raid and I haven't had them occur again since.

If you guys are having trouble paying the BTR driver ive noticed it happen after someone has used it before you. Try opening your inventory when you're inside the BTR and drag your money out of your secure container. Move it around and try to send something to stash. after you buy one service it should let you buy the rest.

warning for those rushing to get the objectives and leave: i did encounter skavs in the train depot, they werent there when i got out of the BTR though its like they followed the BTR as i went in. you could also pay the BTR to shoot everything near it while it drives but thats like 80k so bring enough. also you can only pay for services if the roubles are outside of the secure container

There are tons of filing cabinets there. If you get lucky you might be able to loot the mines code for an extract at the back of train depot at the chainlink gate.

It's bugged on pve, he won't give me the next quest after hot wheels. Tried finding him on streets and woods and same thing he says he doesn't have anything for you when you ask for the next task

Definitely loot if you need military power filters. look thoroughly, found them 4/5 times there. Might find the map to extract at the train station in cabinets by the package

Ive not seen mortars at all yet on PVE at least. After hot wheels, there's a task to kill 10 scavs on woods. Ive not gotten the next task yet.

Follow up: the task after is selling 50 items each to Prapor, Peacekeeper, and ragman. The items do not need to be FIR, so you can just buy items and resell them to the trader. On a timer for the next task now.

I've had that too, but I think it's scavs or whatever stepping on mines. I've seen them walk along the border to the train depot on woods occasionally. It's only on woods and lighthouse I get the random ear ringing and explosions so I got a strong feeling they are just blowing up the whole time.

First stop is either old sawmill or usec checkpoint. It has like 4 routes and skips some stops on diff routes old saw and checkpoint r the only stops ive foubd r solid

you get karma from doing the quests like every other trader, but what does affect this karma? Does Scuv karma just dont level the trunk for the itmes anymore and now its the btr driver karma?

Covering fire is 48k if you’re a bear. I must’ve just got lucky and found the BTR on my first woods raid and completed the tasks. I didn’t go back to woods to turn in my quest, instead I loaded up streets and did other quests. The BTR conveniently appeared in front of me and I hopped in and finished his task. I would recommend not chasing after the BTR, just load up woods or streets and do other tasks there, if the BTR happens to be in your raid then you can go for it. Don’t actively look for the BTR because that just leads to senseless deaths or boring raids.

I cant seem to get the "Natural Exchange" quest. I have completed the "Building Foundations" quest leading up to it, and I got the Skier questline that starts with "The Higher they Fly", also unlocked by doing Building Foundations, and yet I got to the BTR, and I am not able to pick up any quests, I dont know if there is a time gate or what, but I have already completed that Skier questline, now I dont know what to do about the BTR quests

I've completed up to the "HotWheels" task but now the BTR driver has no new dialogue options for new quests. My friend had no problem with getting new quests after that and is now 4 or 5 tasks past that. NO time gate for him but It's been over 24 hrs for me and nothing has changed. No new dialogue options from the BTR driver. Kinda rediculous that BSG consistantly puts out content like this that's not ready to be played.

Hey, I´m having the problem that i cant talk to the BTR-Driver. Usually I use my mouse to scroll between options but that doesnt work on the BTR. I can see the option "talk to btr-driver" but i cant click it. I have tried every single key on my keyboard and couldnt find anythin in the internet. Maybe someone here can tell me how to fix the problem. And yes i restarted the game/pc and it still doesnt work. Great video btw :)

I am so sad to miss all those cool events and questlines, but i am totally burned out of the game after more more than 10 wipes... Still doing the same quests when in an other hand i never saw the end games quests. Also spliting the comunity in 3 parts, with a PVE mod and Arena was a big mistake in my opinion, base Tarkov is now "chad" and "cheaters" only and the skill gap is even harder for new player to enter the game. Disapointed they killed the fir, i already barrely have time to play the game, so playing a stockmarket simulator... But if you don't do this you won't be competitive with your economy vs other players... As far as playing your scavs, they brings so much to your PMC economy that not playing your scav is like activating hardmod... So i don't have time to reach end game, and every session i get farther away from it, as i need to play my scavs or play the flea market and + all the new quests + all raids i make not playing quests and going just for fun/testing. Really hope the wipes will be gone soon with the prestiges system, cause i am not touching this game till they stop wiping my progession every 6 mounths... I know streamer are free marketing assets, so as soon as you finish the game they have to wipe to brings you back, but normal customers/players need to have the opportunity to enjoy the game.

When looking for the btr on woods: on raid start run to scav bunker. 5 minutes into the raid btr spawns and will be there, or usec checkpoint. If hes not there run south to the stop north or sawmill. He will be leaving usec and heading to that stop as you arrive

Make sure you don't try to talk to the BTR driver about quests as a Scav. Made the mistake of doing that and bricked my game lmao. Had to Alt-F4 and reload in the middle of Streets.
