Hi Sir, My daughter is 15 years old and having the same kind of swelling as you described. The FNAC report is as follows: Kindly suggest, how much critical surgery could be for her. FNA done from anterion neck swelling yielded blood mixed aspirate. Glemsa stained smears examined are highly cellular an show follicular epithelial cells in sheets adn clusters. Occassionally papilae formation is also noted. Individual cells shows oncocytic change along with occasional nuclear overlapping and mild nuclear atypia. Occasionally nuclear nuclear grooving and culcear inclusions are also noted. No anatomical borders noted. Impression: Features are suspicious of papillary thyroid carcinoma with oncocytic change Bethesda category V. Advice: Clinicoradiological correlation.
