Now they are asking for police clearance from Ghana. Please how do we go about it because he can't get the police clearance. Hello Nanelle there’s a tick on my cos for maintenance of migrant and dependent but my Nhs has advised that we come alone because the hospital accommodation will not be suitable for family. My hubby is also a doctor and he will be writing the PLAB may2023. I’ll be in the uk ending of January. How will I prove myself in terms of finances when applying for him? I can’t use my cos because it’s valid for just 3 months and I’m afraid I wouldn’t have enough in my bank account when the time is due for him to come. Any advice?

Usually the Cos is for 3 years so after 3 years you apply for an extension. After 5 years you can apply for indefinite leave to remain which makes you eligible for some benefits.
