if fury wasn’t so damn tall and unorthodox, i would say Usyk no question. but fury is really technical himself and that height/reach advantage is gonna be hell for Usyk to not only adjust to, but also overcome. i think Usyk is the better all around boxer but fury is a nightmare waiting to happen for any one

It’s gonna highly depend on what version of Fury we get. He is prone to extreme emotional swings, and if he’s on a down, he might not be able to handle the discipline and relentlessness of Usyk. We haven’t seen light-footed Fury arguably since his Klitschko match and the mauling clinching style from Kronk Gym only works if you can catch the other boxer, so it’ll be interesting to see Fury’s game plan. But I ultimately think age may be the biggest factor. Usyk is fresher and overall more consistently active, but at 37 he can age immediately in the ring. First thing to go is reflexes and timing. However, Fury’s no spring chicken at 35 and all of the weight cycling, drugs, and undisciplined life over the years can finally catch up to him.

Tyson can fight DIRTY! He wont be able to just lean and hang his weight on Usyk. Hell need to pummel Usyk on the outside and punish when they exchange on the inside. Usyk needs to go to the body and catch Fury when he transitions. I give Usyk the edge on counters but Fury has a slight edge with his jab. He can neutralize the counter if he stiff jabs Usyk. I think Usyk and Fury will go the distance unless one of these Giants gets careless. If it goes to the score cards i think Usyk wins by split. Fury needs to land that cross and stiff jab to beat Usyk to the punch, other wise Usyk will neutralise him with counters and uppercuts. Oh i forgot one important thing, Usyk main weakness is his stomach, Fury needs to go there often. Betervieb and Dubois both exposed that fatal flaw on Usyk and we have seen what happens to boxers who for what ever reason have a weak mid section. Lennox Lewis is correct in his analyses of the fight. Tyson Fury needs to go to the body to take Usyk out of there.

I think a big factor people have forgotten about when they ask “why do people dislike fury so much when he’s potentially gonna be a British undisputed heavyweight champion?” (I personally don’t think he will, I’m not sure how he beats a guy who wants it much more than him) is that this fight could have happened last year if fury just stopped fucking around in negotiations. There’s no chance in hell that Usyk accepts 70/30 against his favour and the fight STILL doesn’t happen because of him. Fury’s actions have been a joke up until this point
