As I watch you guys return from the Bahamas, you remind me of me and my wife. We are just starting the planning phase, but what an adventure. I have watched them all so far and will continue. Between you and the Boomershines, we are stoked. Thanks for allowing me on the journey.

We're planning on starting the loop 1st quarter of next year in a 25' trailerable Thanks for video we'll probably do the St John river instead of the Bahamas

We didn’t have time to do the St. John’s River but it is supposed to be amazing!

11:35 We have Starlink from our RV that now we sold the rv for our boating adventure, we will use it on the boat. I’m crossing my fingers the boat we settle on will have a water maker. I want to primarily stay on the hook. 15:28 Oh darn you have to go back to the Bahamas, lol. Cheers

Good plan! You should be happy with Starlink on the boat. Water maker (even the portable one) is probably worth it if you do that type of cruising much.

100% agree that the Bahamas is more advanced cruising!!! It keeps you on your toes for sure. Interestingly, in April & May in the Exumas, we did not have crowds like you did. xoxo

Your comment about the spotty GPS reminded me that the Bahamas is actually part of the Bermuda Triangle.

It didn’t seem that you were prepared for the extensive cruising. Did you not have access to the cruising guides? They tend to help as to when to go and not go during the times of day when all the tourists will be at pig beach and thunderball grotto. It is definitely different than a short loop day cruise from one secured inlet or marina to another like the loop. Different challenges for sure. A lot of times a bahamian bridle will help with swells too. Glad you had fun. I did enjoy the video. Good luck with the sale of the boat.

It just seemed that you weren’t prepared for the leisure cruising life style. You can not have a schedule in the Bahamas. We’re you able to get the cruising guides? They help in letting you know times for when to go and don’t go. Especially pig beach and Thunderball Grotto. Loved the video in letting others know what to expect. Hope the boat sale goes well.

We had some cruising guides but clearly didn’t have all the inside tips we needed.

Thank you for another interesting and enjoyable video. On European waterways washing clothing is expensive and a hassel how did you manage. In Europe marinas are cheaper. Pumpouts while compulsory are not widely available on inland waters and not used. I have met a number of Americian, Australian and New Zealand couples, who keep boats on European waterways, they can only stay 3 months visa. As it is for Europeans in Americia.

We have onboard laundry and used it when we had access to water. It takes about 20gal per load. We didn’t notice marina laundry to be all that expensive (at least where we stayed).
