Jas and Pat: thank you for putting this together!! The time you take out of your busy days to answer people questions is well received! I hope one day you raise a pair of Border Collies!! I know this series is for working dogs but no one ever shows how to raise one properly and they end up being pets more often than not yet with the body and mind of a crackhead working dog. This would be awesome and I would totally buy that series for whatever price you requested!! 😅

Thanks for the answers on the tracking, It's really interesting info and has given me a lot to take away - My use case is purely for enrichment and sport. He's a bull arab so loves to track and do scentwork the most. Ideally I'd love for my boy to scent off an article like a dropped screwdriver or a door handle someone touched, follow the trail and find anything the person may have dropped a long the way (think my keys, not a vigilante running around with a friendly pig dog that wont bite anything) :P . Sport tracking puts a lot of rules and limitations around a task that is like you said, simple - find the person. I think I'm just running with some challenges that I've built around myself and need to uncomplicate things. Sold on getting wavetops, just watched the intro vid and it looks like a well thought out and structured course.
