Channel 4 Was Originally Planned In 1954 As ITV2 (A Name Now Used For The Youth Channel Of ITV1) But Eventually Launched At 4:45pm On The 2nd Of November 1982 As Channel 4!

Kudos to Channel 4 for such an amazing ident set! I love the fact that the seaside scene had the original launch date as read in the bottom left of the screen, before seeing the C4 logo with the original 1982 colours in another scene.

Very, very interesting. So on brand it hurts. Absolutely bloody brilliant, all of it. The references to C4s origins are particularly lovely. I'm not usually a fan of spoken word poetry either but I actually enjoyed that element too - it all fit so perfectly.

Fantastic job with this new set, Although with the giant it would have been nice to see some new locations with it during its run, A missed opportunity there.
