TYRES, yes there only 33,s. but,, what rating are they,??.. are they 10 ply.. ect..plus, the fatter tyres gona suck more juice as well.. just leave out the details,, its o.k.. susp lift, still only 6'' travel.. ooohhh,, that poor v6.. i pity it.. did you change the diff ratios, so the 8,2t, doesnt wear the motor out.. kill it up hill.. suck sht loads juice.. but,,it looks pretty..

how about buy a real truck you dont have to fk with..we only have jap 4x4rs, cars, cos the gov did a deal with them.. all u.s. 4x4rs have single cab, extra cab, king cab, twin cab, 6 ft tray, or 8 ft tray,&, different length chassis to accomodate the extra length. i have a single cab 4.2tdi s/duty, 2.9m, tray,canopy. turns better than a t/cab 79 series, more economical & more powerfull.. 14 lt 100, 700nm.. 240 hp..no computer, no glow plugs, .260,000 ks, replaced alt, belt, tensioner. cost 25k..7 yrs ago.. if you compare a toyota, nissan, suspension, with a 79 f100 4x4. you might learn how it should be done.. nissan titan, had a 5 lt tdi v8. discontinued, by cummins. they also have a 2.8 tdi, fitted to jeeps, foton tunland. brillient engine. reliable. cos its cummins.. toyota lost the plot with the 80 series, at least nissan kept the solid front diff till early 2000,s. nissan is a better choice, better wheel base, & transmission brake. on some..

It's not BS. My 200 series is done the same. I can't say I've seen a 200 diff bend but I've seen a 79series diff bent. Only the early ones, without difflocks. They had a weaker housing. I would rather it beefed up.
