I’m so glad you’re a Ravens fan and we get treated to this high level, in depth film breakdown for our team

It’s been a minute coach but watching film with you is always a pleasure. We need more screen game and quick passes this season.
@all_22_films8 ай бұрын
Hey thanks for checking this one out. Yeah I understand that. This one was fun to produce. Might try to be a little more organized with an intermediate Pass game video next.

Lamar still has to work on his go ball. Once he cleans that up I think we’ll be as close to perfect as we’ve ever been.
@robertmstreeterii71028 ай бұрын
I think that’s oversimplifying things. Lamar’s deep ball is fine to me; I’d like to see his foot work from snap to snap improve in general.
@slimreaper49378 ай бұрын
Better receivers might help that a little. Some teams actually draft or go after great receivers to help their QB
@frenchg0rilla8 ай бұрын
@@robertmstreeterii7102 when watching the qb school, Lamars best passing games are when his footwork is consistent. It all comes down to footwork.
@CoolKingston8 ай бұрын
His footwork at the beginning of the season was very sharp and I think for about 3/4 of the season it was pretty good. Probably the most consistent he’s been with his feet since he came into the league. He just needs to continue to build on what he’s already done. So his feet stay consistent even when under pressure.
@livefast-xc8lm8 ай бұрын
I think this is a product of reps. If he had more meaningful reps in certain pass plays, he would be spoken in amongst the best passers on the league. This can be do to the office to. Run offense first. That’s how it’s always been. Receivers play a part also but overall lack of reps in certain pass plays but passing as a whole
@ypcdro17398 ай бұрын
I don’t think Lamar has issues with the deep ball as these fans be saying I think when he sets his feet the right way he’s able to hit them he has to be consistent with his footwork
@Mrfantastic-hp2en8 ай бұрын
Exactly he never had a problem throwing deep to Hollywood brown if he had chase or hill it would be a different story
@CT-le4nb7 ай бұрын
Qb school kept saying it too. I feel like his footwork is not consistent because he relies on just his arm a good amount
@thekidd18567 ай бұрын
we just missin that great wr bcuz I see how Joe burrow just throws the ball up a lot and chase and Higgins just goes up and snatches it and I’m like damn if Lamar only had that he would seem like a cheat code . It’s 100 percent facts great wr makes QBs look even better especially on deep balls ,that’s why pat was last in QBs for deep balls last season
@ypcdro17397 ай бұрын
@@thekidd1856 that what we’re hoping with walker and that 6’6 wr we just sign but I understand what u mean like at aj brown type guy where jalen throws it up

Hmm. I remember a lot of these quick plays. These plays were highly efficient and effective. Great breakdown coach.
@all_22_films8 ай бұрын
Great description. Efficient. That is what I think the Ravens should strive for, even more than we saw in 2023. Efficiency.

in your opinion how does monken expand his system with our new personnel, and how do we get the most of of bate, with him being our bonafide 2 this year ?
@T.Y897 ай бұрын
There are a couple of 39:34 things I would like to see from Lamar. Utilizing the check down a tad more instead of the constant long passes down field. Our best advantage to me moving the chains will be the intermediate routes from our receivers. Quick game and 12 personnel is what I'd like to see more. Also, I would like to add Lamar needs to air out the ball more instead of the sling shot that resulted in two of his 7 picks. If Bateman gets at least half of the targets left from OBJ, I expect a pretty good year.
@kevinsingh28158 ай бұрын
Great job as always coach. There's a reason why they're showcasing Ravens on primetime this year.
@AJCsr8 ай бұрын
How excited are you to see how Monkens offense will progress this year, after the strides we were able to see in the passing game last year ?
@RoLive958 ай бұрын
8:15 is just the prime example of missed opportunities for big plays becuz the read is to the other side. OBJ & Bate 1v1 winning but were not the read, we need to attack 1v1s intentionally
@Kcbudden8 ай бұрын
I feel like as the QB the first read shouldn't always be the same person over and over it should be who you think is going to win on their route and go from there but I feel like the OC says throw it to this person like that's not going to work all the time

Or why is different plays are called when Andrews is out and Likely is on the field?
@AJCsr8 ай бұрын
Likely looked so good last year when Andrews was out. As soon as Mark was back on the field, Likely's roll was diminished. Andrews was essentially a downgrade in the playoffs.
@Kcbudden8 ай бұрын
@@AJCsrLikely>Andrews. Likely is a dawg and he makes the offense better and Lamar spreads the ball more. Andrews is good don't get me wrong but I feel like Lamar is tunnel vision when he's on the field

This isn’t about Gro. I think you may have pointed how awful some of pass concepts actually were. I think he may have struggled to draw up a lot of what we saw this past season even if Lamar always had the skill set.
