Great content 👍🏾 What do you think about Nate Wiggins and the Ravens drafting him in the first round?

Excellent work as usual. As you show, Goff can throw as well as anyone plus he exhibits great leadership every day. Local sports media is throwing in the towel for the most part on this season but JG and the rest of the team still has plenty to say on that. They’re tough as nails and adjustments will be made. Go Lions!

I like how the experts say Buffalo is unstoppable or the favorite now after beating my Lions. They don’t mention the Bills defense giving up almost 90 points in the last 2 games. It’s comical to me.

There was plenty of opportunity for pics by Detroit if they would have double the RB or just playing some zone on passing downs.

Just want to give a shout-out to Tim Patrick. Dude has been a dog since signing with us. Fixed a huge hole we had for the first couple of games without Reynolds.

Hey coach just a thought, people have criticized Goff for throwing a little bit inaccurate (low, back hip, not leading the receiver for rac) watching these film studies made me think that Goff is effectively communicating to (and forcing) his receivers to be prepared for the defense they can’t see. He throws behind them or low when it there is a safety crashing down ready to take someone’s head off, but when there is opportunity for rac, he usually puts it more to space or at the chest (space side) for the receiver to go get it. I know Brady talked abt this years ago, but I think it’s a really underrated skill of Goffs. I’ve seen him throw minimal hospital balls and the lack of receiver injuries is evident of that

Lamar has the best RedZone deep ball in the league for at least 20 30 yards out

Coach, what keeps Bateman from being a WR1? I like his size and route running, obviously explosive and gets open. Is it lacking chemistry w Lamar from injuries and distrust from some drops?

You are spot on that they were identifying what the offense was looking to do. Crazy to score so much when they had our number so often.

Another benefit to the fake pitch, fake QB sweep and the like, that gets the O-line pulling a moving as lateral blockers, is that it takes pressure off the O-line by putting Lamar in to a tailored scramble as oppose to his scrambles resulting from failed blocking. The conflit of the potential run forces would rushers of the QB to hitch in considering their run stop assignments. This game shows that the use of this tactic doesn't depend on the run success the Ravens are having in game for it to be effective as Lamar and Henry have to be respected as runners. This scheme could be elaborated upon with different personnel groups and backside threats, and could be successful even if spammed.

On the TD to Tez Walker, it looks like Lamar recognized that Tez was open and that slight 'pump fake' was him wanting to throw it but not because Tez hadn't got his head around yet. The benefit was that Tez was able to show off his 'toe tapping" skills and gain confidence from Lamar/coaches which will pay dividends in the future. I'd imagine the WR coach will have given Tez an if-then cue or two for him to get his head around sooner.

No problem with onside kick I had more of a problem with the game management. When they stopped the bills for a field goal with around 2:40 left I thought he should’ve started using time outs. Let it run down to 2:03 and had one play on offense before the two minute warning. Especially since they didn’t start using timeouts with about 30 second if my memory is correct.

I was perfectly fine with the early onsides kick. I think he was dissuaded by the result of the fiest one. They were so close to getting that last kick. Unfortunate bounce by turner causing ball back under Johnson. I also feel that the ball to Patrick was a big missed opportunity. They might have been able to save their 3rd timeout if he makes that catch.

Lamars efficiency in which he scores is truly elite. He's one of the only NFL QBs I've ever seen who can consistently get 5 TDs on 25 or less pass attempts. The crazy part is he usually has 5 or less incompletions in those games as well. And it's not like he's dinking and dunking down the field, he's throwing 20-30 yard dots. It's a privilege to be able to watch this guy play in the prime of his career. Only player who has 2 MVPs by age 27, and still feels underrated. His ceiling is Jordan/Lebron type high. Great vid coach

Listening a couple days late (I needed some time to digest what saw on my own). Another point about the 1st on side is he only gets 2 per game and the defense looked gassed, our previous scoring drive was quick.
