Good breakdown. The Lions are a well coached team. They're using different tools and strengths to find success on a weekly basis depending on personnel and scheme tendencies their opponents have. The offense isn't performing consistently throughout games, but its nice to see our coaches put the players in positions to succeed even when the team is still figuring things out. I didn't realize the Lions went to jumbo package this much as I didn't see the game live.

Detroit Lions football: "We're going to do something we're good at a lot. And we're going to do it confidently and in times most teams wouldn't think about trying, lol" (Also, PS: The "interception that Goff threw that got 'called back' didn't get 'called back'. Whistles blew (heard it in the stadium live) before the snap, and the play never counted in the first place... Just because it kept going doesn't mean it counted on the play-by play!)

Yeah you could hear it on tv too but they never played it in the replays while the announcers kept going on and on about it, was super annoying.

Trap is a great call when Teams go to these Wide 9 fronts because it's easy to get angles on the 3T and let T/G get to 2nd level since some of the LBs are leaning back. I think the draw trap is pretty lethal as well on expected pass downs to pop one or get to a 4th and manageable.

They've scored no more than 20 points in regulation this season. They've have some moments but I'm a little scared for this offense.

I still dont understand why Detroit didnt lean harder into that running game against Tampa. Seemed to me like Bent Johnson wanted to duplicate past success which is a recipe for failure.

TB's tackling was outstanding. The LBs were playing fast, and making excellent decisions. Ragnow and Glasgow got beat a lot in pass and run protection

The coordinator thought he could take advantage of TBs aggressive nature on defense. The lions couldn't move the ball in the red zone
