I feel similarly conjoined with my tuxedo cat. We often yawn in unison. This is pretty gross, but if I go to use the loo, she’ll go to use her kitty litter in the next room at the same time. I can be sat thinking of her and she’ll in that second run into the room I’m in meowing melodically and asking for me to comfort her. We can just gaze into each others eyes for ages with a knowing look of love towards each other. She’s the best friend I’ve ever had.

Stray adult cats are different than cats that you take in that are kittens as they have life experiences that we know nothing about. I had taken in 3 adult cats one at a time just showed up. 1st orange male tabby Tablet, 2nd Tucker male tuxedo, 3rd Toki dark brown female & Tucker outlasted the other 2. They were all good companions Toki bossy very active played with toys every day but diagnosed with thyroid disease & passed last September. Cats just show up & choose you even though you were not looking to bring a cat to your home. Toki was a stray cat in my neighbors yard that watched me through fence for 3 months & came over one day she came towards me & my 2 male cats Tablet & Tucker came out of no where & knocked her down one at a time. She moved into yard then into house, but all 3 of these cats had to go outside & I could not make them be indoors only or I would hear about it they were vocal! They were a blessing now only one is left Tucker.

Did you call him Big Mac because he was huskier than other cats? My late tuxedo cat, Kane, actually was brilliant! He learned at a very young age how to twist the doorknob to open the (heavy) front door, he could open cupboard doors that were too high for me to reach, he used to get into them and rip open his treats and catnip! In less than a week after we got him (we got him as a kitten) he was riding on our dogs back around the house. And when we would take the dog for a walk he somehow would always get out and follow us, we finally gave in and allowed him to come (it was a safe street/ field where we took our walks!) He also used to love to get on top of cars, he started doing it to prevent me from going to work, but one day a friend drove off with him on top! They only got about 200 ft before we stopped them! He had such a unique personality and there are SO many stories and amazing times/ moments spent with that brave, wild, intelligent, and just ALL AROUND AMAZING cat. I'll always love and miss him. I've had a lot of cats over the years, but the two that are closest to my heart were both tuxedos. They are the cats I had the longest, and each of them was 'my' cat, or rather I was their person. Elvira was my tuxedo that I had in the 80s and 90s, and she tolerated other people, but she loved me. I lost Elvira in 1999, and in 2001 I met a tiny baby tuxedo whom I named Squeak. I had Squeak her whole life, and she passed away two years ago, at almost twenty years old. I miss her terribly still. I had a tuxedo mitten kitty (six toes on each paw), and he was, without doubt, the smartest, most elegant, and majestic cat I’ve ever had. If he purred for anyone it was a great gift from him. He KNEW things. He took to my son really well and they were inseparable, absolute buddies. My son trained him to go for walks to the local skatepark without a leash or harness. All he had to do was snap his fingers and Figaro would come right back to him, and at the skatepark he would wander nearby or lay down, never just ran off. We lost him in 2020 and every day I miss my Figgy. He was one of a kind. 🐈⬛

I’ve had cats all my life and Mr. Tux is the smartest cat I’ve ever owned. I kept his treats in the short cabinet above the microwave (he’d regularly raid the other cabinets for snacks). Finally, he figured out (after lord knows how many trials) to leap up, bat the door open and knock them to the floor. Well, I refuse to be outsmarted by a cat so I moved them to inside the fridge on the door shelf. You guessed it. The appliance had a pullout freezer with a bar handle, and you could see his little paw prints where he got up there and eventually figured out how to pull open the fridge door and snag his treats. Bonus points for persistence!

She always let me know when the water or food bowl was getting low, the other cat used the litter box, she knew when I wasn't feeling well and would lay on my stomach or my heart, depending on what was hurting, she loved to constantly get my attention either vocally or gently patting my arm or face. She loved to be held, but only when she came up to me 1st. She lived through 3 dogs with the last one was able to be there for the 1st year of that dog's life. He was a male named Tom (imaginatively!😅), he always knew his name, although we ended up calling him Tommy more often than not. He became a grumpy old thing, getting into fights with neighbourhood cats. Then we ended up with two kittens as well. He would be grumpy, keep them in line with a small growl or bat of the paw, but never hurt them. He was a funny old thing and we've never forgotten him!😺

I’ve had cats my whole life (nearing half a century here) and this is my first tuxedo cat. He is, by far, the smartest cat I’ve ever seen!! Not only is he the smartest, but he’s the LOUDEST!! 😵💫 He has taught me what “yowling” is. I never knew that word until I had to look up why he makes such a loud, obnoxious sound when everyone leaves the living room and goes to bed at night. If I summarized it-and if it’s possible with a cat-my observation in the five years we’ve had him, he is a “herding cat.” Yes, like a livestock or guardian dog! Our Tuxie is perfectly happy when all or most of the family are together. But when people start going to bed, one by one, his anxiety increases and he starts pacing the floors outside their bedroom doors and starts yowling. He’s not happy until they come back. And he WONT sleep with that person. Nothing is acceptable until they rejoin the rest of the family. We have lost soooo much sleep as a result of this personality trait of his. 😵💫 But we love him and try different things to keep him inside (although it’s so tempting to just put him outside when he’s loud all night).

The last 5 came 10 days ago from a friend who found a box with 8 kittens dumped by her mailbox. I found my tuxedo cat, Patrick, as a young stray on the sidewalk in front of the post office 5 years ago. He is the most intelligent cat I've "owned" and is the only one of the current 15 that I let out during the day. ( Years ago I lost several outside cats to fishers that came through this area. ) He has a very soft "meow", to which my ears are definitely attuned, to tell me that he wants to go out. There is just something special about him that stands out from the crowd.

A tuxedo stray mama cat gave birth to a few litters. Although she remain more stray than domestics, she leaves mice and birds in the porch. Two of her tuxedo kitties from different litters are distinguished. The elder male tuxedo dislike noise, he complains as soon as we raised our voice. The younger tuxedo female had imprinted on me as a human companion who thinks I am her mom. She makes trill sounds, makes biscuits, slow blinks, hops on my bed at evenings, wakes me up at 5am, raise her meow sounds, tail raises up with a curl tip, licks my face, bites my hand when I rub her to her belly, sleeps besides me, constantly seeks my attention, etc. she especially doesn’t rush to chase my oldie parrot, she just observed with this relaxed facial expression only on the parrot.

The biggest difference is when there is a loud or strange noise. Colbie hides, Panda goes to see what is making the noise. "Jellicle Cats are white and black, Jellicle Cats are of moderate size; Jellicle Cats jump like a jumping-jack, Jellicle Cats have moonlit eyes."

Our tux cat was so entertaining. I called him stinker as he waited for me early on to go to bed and was such a weird guy. He chased dogs until one caught him and he changed his behavior. He knocked at the door or window and ppl would say,oh someone is knocking, I’d say, oh it’s the cat, just let him in. He said mom, clearly. He was 15 when he had to be put down. A lifetime of entertainment and love for me and my boys. We called him pink, tink as he was so pink on his toes, beautiful cat. Not necessarily loving as neurotic but a blessing. King of the castle and jealous of grands as well. I spoiled him and he weighed 23 lbs when he passed. Tuna on Sunday. All I had to do was look at him and he’d behave. Never hurt him, just a glance. My boys drove him nuts. My oldest came home after being gone about 6 months. We talked about how tink would respond. I said, he’s going to play dead. Son walked in and the cat looked like he fainted and played dead. Hilarious but I defended him. Stress isn’t funny. We miss him to this day!

I just watched your great Tuxedo video, and enjoyed it very much! We (myself, pit bull baby & chocolate lab) were leaving our apartment a month ago, and this sweet little kitty was curled up on the stairway - not afraid to move an inch with the 2 dogs going crazy over him! I took the dogs back upstairs, got a can of tuna & walked out the door, he was now right outside our apartment & I sat with him for a while, tried the tuna & he wasn’t interested, but let me pick him up & take him to our protected porch with no issue…after 3-4 days, he became a totally loving kitty, nobody responded to my ads for him (as being lost), so we decided to keep him. He now loves to eat every 3 hours, but only weighs about 1 kg or less, so I keep feeding him when he meows. Compared to our previous 2 siamese male/females, he is super affectionate & not once has he ever pulled his nails out while I hold/pet him- pure sweet “Tossi the Tuxie!”

The biggest difference that I noticed with my Tuxedo cats vs other cats is just how high energy they are and how chatty they are. My oldest one is also highly intelligent, he’s able to open doors and cabinets. I do think coat color can influence personality.

Awesome video! I thought my grey and white baby, Graycie, was a tuxedo, but I thought her color disqualified her. Nice to know she is part of the best dressed tribe. Although she is my plushest, most adorable-looking cat (many think she looks like a toy), she is actually a bit of a jerk; jealous and territorial when it comes to my other two cats, and downright vicious when she is scared or annoyed. She is my only one that actually needs to be sedated or restrained my myself and a nech when I take her to the vet, and when she has to be boarded when I travel, she always gets the "careful--bites" sign put on her cage. When it's just me and her, though, she is as sweet as a plush toy. It's just her luck she wandered into my life as a tiny but headstrong stray kitten when I already had a brother and sister pair who'd been with me for 7 years. 10 years later, and she still only barely tolerates them, but knows not to harass them in front of me.

I've had other types of cats, but I have found my latest a female tuxedo cat to be the most loyal and sweetest little cat. She comes running when I call her. Wants attention when she is not snoozing, or just wants to snooze on our laps. Very affectionate, but can be feisty at times, probably just overstimulated, and wants to be left alone for a little bit. She thinks she is the queen of the castle. I did have one other cat that passed that was ever so loyal to me, a blue eyed silver white cat, streaked with a taupe color, unusual coloring, female. Still miss her after so many years. I totally recommend getting a little tuxedo. You will not regret it, and people who bypass them don't know what they are missing.

When I was looking to adopt a rescue, I passed over a tuxie because his appearance didn't really jump out at me. I selected a cat but made one last pass before leaving the animal shelter. As I was passing the cages, the tuxie one got my attention when he put his paw out through the cage and gently touched my cheek and held it there. I was a goner and selected him knowing he was meant to be mine. I had him for 16 years. He was the most wonderful boy. Never met a stranger, never bit or clawed anyone. He was polite. He would sit at my bedroom door, looking like a distinguished butler, and wait for me to invite him in, which, of course, he was always invited in. Snuggly, kind, sensitive and smart. I have grieved losing him intensely as he was my soul mate. My next cat will also be a tuxedo as I learned to love this breed because of my Andy boy.

We have a Tuxedo male and we have found his personality to be one of affection and empathy towards other cats. For instance he brought his "brother" home to us and was kind and respectful to him. If the colour combo is based on genetics then perhaps the genetic traits affect more than just pigment, perhaps behaviour as well.

In 2007, Norton, wandered up to my house as an unneutered male Tuxedo Cat. He was very tame and humble. He would bow his head whenever I petted him. After his surgery and vaccinations, I left him with a few other rescues. One of the others was a Cow Cat, which I named , " Cow Cat." Over a period of 10 years Norton trained Cow Cat to become tame.. Norton would walk up to me in front of Cow and let me pet him while Cow Cat watched him. Eventually Cow Cat stopped running away from me. Norton, passed away about a yesr ago. and I thought that he was highly intelligent. He was my muse for art projects because of his handsome Tuxedo coat and sweet expressions. I really miss him! ❤

Our Tuxedo is incredibly playful, active, and curious. She loves to play fetch, her favourite toys are those two-inch mice with feathers for tails, or whatever she can steal off the table/kitchen counter. She also wakes my partner (because I'm a deep sleeper and she's learnt that it's easier to wake up him) at 4 AM. She was born on a farm where the farmer didn't care about the cats at all, and had vicious dogs (which were apparently not properly socialized and occasionally killed the cats). She's such a perpetual "child", I wonder if she's making up for the three months on that horrendous farm.

My late sister had a b&w male tuxedo cat. He was the loudest, most talkative cat I've ever seen. I don't know if it's a secondary trait or not, but he was extremely communicative and demanding. I cat sat him a few times and he was just a monster, lol. My parents inherited him. He was quite the first week or so while adapting to his new home and people, but he quickly resumed his outrageous behaviors.

What I do know is that the first cat I ever met and immediately fell in love with (I was 30) was a "tuxedo cat." I just thought she was black with a white bib. Dear Gabby lived to be almost 22 and in one of the most amazing episodes of my entire life, had three kittens in my lap while I stroked her belly and let her know that everything was coming out all right. That happened 40 years ago and since she passed away in 2004, there hasn't been a single day that I haven't thought of her. She's responsible for my consistent online moniker too! I've had four more long-lived kitties since then and can't imagine life without any of them! Cats are definitely nature's superior animal!

For a long while we had a Tuxedo we named Elliott. We found him under a car near the University here. He was maybe five months old, no collar, no chip, in relatively good health and neutered, just dirty. No one claimed him, so he stayed with us. He was a super love-bug, but also the wheeeniest of cats. He had the tiniest meow, and the sort of personality where he never wanted to be noticed *doing* anything. If you had to pass him in the hall, or caught him drinking water, or eating food, or looked at him sideways, he would *always* make the plaintive little *meeeeew* noise, and either run or flop instantly onto his back to show his belly. I dunno what kind of life he had before us, but he was pretty pampered at our place! He was the same cat that, given the opportunity to see our chickens one day, made an unholy demon-summoning yowl, charged the birds, then turned and fled back inside our house. The few times he wandered outside, he fled right back in, too! A *true* housecat! He rarely hissed or swatted at anyone, including the dog (who he still managed to push around despite being such a powderpuff of cat). Honestly, he was a very loving weirdo. His worst trait was how much he loved to roll and just steep his longish fur in the STANKIEST of places. I'm not sure how much I buy one particular pattern or type being one particular way. I tend to think boy cats are much more clingy and whiny in general. I've never had a boy cat who wasn't just sort of a needy thing with people (ferals aside), even if they were a little shy to strangers. Lady cats, on the other hand, have always been the scrappier ones for me, though there have definitely been a few himbo-esque lady cats in my time, too.

I have a 1 year old tuxedo female… she is very petite compared to my orange and gray males that I mentioned in the orange cat video. She’s an absolute sweetheart, but nowhere near as attached or needy as our others. She’s very independent and very mischievous, she’s into everything and chews stuff up. If all of the cats we’ve had over the years I can’t recall ever having one that chews things up, mostly cardboard, paper type stuff. When she wants attention it is completely on her terms, she can crawl all over me, lick me and curl up in my lap whenever she wants and only when she wants. I had another tuxedo cat when I was a kid back in the 80’s, she was the exact opposite and was extremely friendly and loved being picked up, carried around and snuggled when we wanted to. I was very excited to find the one we have now because I have the best memories of my childhood tuxedo, I even named her the same name. Maybe she will change a little after we get her spayed. Our daughter also has one the same age as ours with very similar personalities and also not spayed. Could that maybe be why she’s so snobby?! Lol

Thank you for making this. I have been lucky enough to have shared my home with 3 tuxedo cats in my long life, and every one has been male, and had a strong personality. The 5am “wake up and feed me” leap onto my chest in bed is common to all, as is the purring, kneading and slow blinking when picked up and cuddled. None of them have been very vocal, with only a short “ack” in greeting, and none of them greet me with perfectly straight up tails. The wealthy have amassed their money by stealing it from the working people of America; Capitalism is just another name for Slavery (Wage-Slavery to be precise)!! Amerikan Slave-Masters don't actually OWN their slaves, they call them "Employees" and pay them by the hour only, thus avoiding unnecessary expenditures for food, clothes and housing. AND we the enslaved population of Amerika are supposed to ADMIRE these thieving bastards because they claim to have "earned" the wealth by hard work and higher intelligence or talent. The workers are brainwashed into believing their poverty is a result of their own LACK of hard work and their own inferiority!! THIS brainwashing, this crippling of our people is an abomination!!! So, I feed some strays here in suburban L.A. Right now, there are 8 of them that are regulars and a couple more I see from time to time come to visit. 4 of them are what I refer to as "black and white kitty", as they have varying markings and may or may not be appropriately termed tuxedo cats. Kujo, he lets me pet him and scratch his head and neck when I bring his food in the morning. The others do not let me near them. They wait till I have shut myself inside the door and then come out to feed. They are, nevertheless, beautiful and I wish I could hold them in my arms. And bring them inside with me, but I get it.

Byron was my first cat as an adult. Rescued at a shelter when he was 8 mo old and lived to 18 1/2. He was a tuxedo and most enchanting, very smart, and loved riding in the car. He would steal chicken off my fork as I was eating, he was a love. And he’s been gone 20 years and I still think of him. My 2nd tuxedo was Zack, he was feisty, also a rescue at 4 or 5 weeks old. His ferol mom was killed by a car and my vets office had rescued the kittens. He only lived to 9 but was a lap cat. He became my mom’s best friend when she came to live with me and somehow he knew she was blind, so he would lead her and her walker down the long hallway to our dining room. He died a few months after my mom passed. Personality plus on both of these tuxedos… great cats, but I’m a believer that they pick us. When I went to the shelter and got Byron… he was the last cat in the last aisle that I walked down… I was ready to give up because no cat paid any interest in me until I set eyes on Byron…he was the only cat that acknowledged me… that sold me on adopting him. Zack hissed and spat at me on our first meeting and his feistiness was a plus. I now have a calico and an orange tabby… my calico girl could almost pass for a tuxedo except for the orange marking on her face. My orange boy could be an orange and white tux… all of them are personality plus. Love cats!!! Thanks for the video.

I have 3 brother cats. One classic tux, one grey tux, and one striped tabby. It’s been interesting to see their different personalities evolve, despite being raised from birth in the same environment. The classic tux is anxious around visitors, but the absolute sweetest with his housemates. He’s very much a lover, not a fighter, who melts into a puddle of purrs anytime we pet him. He’s incredibly playful on his own and will combine toys with other objects around the house to keep play interesting. The grey tux has always been the most observant and loves a puzzle, or for me to hide treats around the house for him to find. He’s nicknamed “Big Mood’ because if he doesn’t get what he wants when he wants it, he’ll let you know! He is always making demands and gets hangry near meal times. He also gets very cranky late at night lol. He can be such a little punk, but he has his ways of letting me know I’m his human ❤

She is 5-6 years old, and has only been with me for 4 days so there is still lots to learn about her. She is sweet, friendly, gentle, loves lots of loves and pets, prefers spending time with me over alone, and doesn't meow very much. However, she purrs a lot. I think she loves that I work from home so am around a lot. She likes cuddles at night and has been waking me up by 6 AM for her wet food. I am feeling very privileged to be her guardian!

Vita’s personality traits. Many of these apply to tuxedo cats, based on my research. Vita is grey and white. She is one of the cats featured in this video except she has a smidgeon of white just under her nose, and like the video, she has brownish fur in certain spots. From 1:06 to 1:12. 1) she is very loyal and a “people cat.” 2) she is very chatty 3) she is not afraid of dogs and is dog-like in terms of loyalty 4) she has put things in her mouth and dragged them to spots to make them more comfortable (cat cushions, towels and blankets) 5) she has EXCELLENT hearing. She hears almost as well as a dog. Lol. 6) she is intelligent-she can focus on certain objects including ones on tv that don’t move as fast for about 30 seconds to 1 minute at a time 7) she has a very loud rolling purr, and it seems like she purrs all of the time 8) she has “elevator butt” She sticks up her butt when you pet her. 9) she is a little nurse maid- she will extend her paw to the side of my neck to check for a pulse or place her paw on my chin with enough pressure to open my mouth and say Ahhhhhhhhhh. Lol *With number 8, I am not sure if this is part of tuxedo cat’s personalities or not. 10) In play, she prefers interactive feather toys over balls and other toys. 11) She is a very fussy eater. After over 2 years, she still hasn’t graduated from FF in the gravies and sauces to something healthier (and believe me, I have tried them all). She eats a small amount of high quality dry. Two years ago I introduced her to wet foods.

We adopted a little tux male kitten from our local shelter a little under 6 months ago. He is extremely smart. I'm not a crazy cat lady however, I have had so many different breeds, kinds and colors over my life I think I can throw in my 2 cents here. I've loved and lost some wonderful friends throughout my kitty adventures but there is something about our newest member that just takes the cake. First of all, at the shelter he reached out for my son 2 times through the bars of his cage, and he had us there. Since then, he has proven to be the smartest cat I have ever had. It could be just a happen stance but I've just never seen anything like this guy. The most loyal, loving and brilliant cat I have ever known.

I will say that my tuxedo is unlike any other cat I’ve ever had. He is very intelligent, sensitive, and emotional but these qualities combined manifest in a way that I can only describe as “moodiness.” He loves his mama with the utmost loyalty, following me down the street or in the yard if I walk anywhere, but he is jealous of other cats and will bully and taunt them…like sit inches away from his brother and just stare at him, playing mind games, because he knows he’s terrified of him (I keep them separated as much as possible.) He will sit at the front door and huff until he gets to go outside (I’ve never heard a cat sigh before and I’ve had cats all my life.) But when he’s outside and in a good mood he’s so loving and affectionate. Other times he’s standoffish giving you the side eye like “don’t even touch me.”

Tuxedo cats that I have owned or know of, seem to be daredevils who are not scared of heights. One I had years ago was a shoulder cat who liked sitting on your should and perch in high places. He also liked to climb trees and would get down on his own without issue. That part was before I adapted him from the streets. After I adapted him he became an indoor cat but still liked to get into high places. The neighbor's cat is fearless. He'll climb trees, get on roofs and he isn't afraid. If a squirrel or bird think they're safe in a tree, they have another thing coming. And a tuxedo cat I plan on adapting at a pet store is a shoulder cat who seems to be fearless with heights from what I saw of her.

My late cat Oscar knew how to flip his toys into the air and catch them with his mouth, and would sometimes bring a toy to me by flippin it with his mouth at me. He would growl at outside noises like a dog. He gave me kitty kisses and ninips (bit my chin). He knew when to wake me for food. He was good at recognizing sounds....my keys, his laser pointer click or the chain on it, his crunchies... He was always in the same room, and cried with his big mouse toy in his mouth when I was away. I loved my tuxedo boy and I would definitely get another when my heart heals ❤️

We've had 2 Tuxedo cats over the years, very different mix breeds, strays that we rescued. Interesting video!

One day this tuxedo cat showed up in my yard, with 0 fear in it`s meow, picked me to be it`s new friend! She has been with me since May, and she constantly shows great affection! She is the most intelligent and friendly cat I've ever encountered, and can stay as long as she wants! Always wondered if I`d saved her from some unfortunate past! From the way she treats me I`d want to think that I did!🐈⬛

A friend gave me a gorgeous female tuxedo kitten on New Year's Day 2000. I named her Stella and called her my Y2Kat. She had beautiful green eyes and an almost perfectly symmetrical mask. She was a bit aloof to me, but when I got married she latched onto my husband and allowed me to feed her. She was strictly indoors for the first few years of her life then discovered the great outdoors. She would go out to the backyard and actually drag little snakes into the kitchen, even though the lawn was mowed so we were not sure how far she went. We let her out one day in 2014 and never saw her again. She probably knew her time had come and we're just happy she was where she wanted to be.

I had three tuxedos. One of them was polydactyl. Yes, he had an obsession with opening cupboard doors and could open just about anything. He would bully the other cats (I had 7 indoor cats). The only one he was afraid of was my Persian and the smallest cat I had. She was the Queen of the house and knew it. She was 8 lbs and he was around 18 lbs, he messed with her only once and never tried that again. She schooled him but good. She let him know in no uncertain terms that she was the boss. That Tux had a brother, also a Tux, but the brother was not polydactyl. They had a sister, also a Tux, and she also was polydactyl. I gave her to an older couple who were experiencing empty nest syndrome.

Every tuxedo cat I’ve ever met was so well mannered, sweet and interactive… most of them are chubby too lol when looking at kittens I wanted a orange kitten but saw my best buddy and the deal was sealed! My Tuxie Gaston is the sweetest cat I’ve ever met personally 🥹🫶🏼

I had a tuxedo cat named Beast. He was the biggest kitty I ever had (18 lbs) and followed me around the house like a dog. Every now and then he would pounce on one of my arms and bite me hard. Once, he hit a blood vessel and blood began to squirt about 2 inches in the sir - I had to go to urgent care. I almost returned him to the rescue I got him from. I changed my mind and kept him. I was afraid another owner might put him down pretty quickly. I also had another very sweet docile cat at the time. I kept them separate because I thought my non aggressive kitty would be hurt. I had an animal psychologist see Beast but he never stopped being aggressive - not all the time, just every now and then. But his attacks were pretty vicious so I was always careful. He passed away early 2021 at the age of 9. Despite his bipolar behavior I still loved him and took care of him until the end...

When I was a kid, I owned a very sweet fluffy Tuxedo cat. His name was "Sylvester." He lived a long time. He was my constant companion for me following the death of my dad (aged thirty-eight). Thanks for this informative video. Meow and ciao -- W 😻

Aww. I'm glad you had Sylvester as a companion through those years; losing your dad must have been really rough. Meow and ciao to you, too.

@@AllAboutCatsYT - Many thanks. It was difficult spending the rest of my formative years without my Dad. Sylvester was a godsend. I even had that cat in my treehouse. He loved it there. If he grew tired of lounging about in my treehouse, Sylvester would clamber down the wooden ladder and onto the ground! That cat never ceased to amaze me! My Dad's side of my family were English. All of them owned cats. My grandmother lived near a guy and his wife in Coventry who had over two-hundred cats living in an old Quonset hut left over from World War 2. The only creatures those cats didn't bother with were hedgehogs. Take care. 😸

My Tuxedo, Bellatrix, is THE most loving cat I have ever owned! She is like a dog: She comes when she's called, loves every human in my household (though I am #1 ;)

Thanks for the great topic! The 3 cats I have owned in my life all have been Tuxes. 2 b&w, 1 gray&w, 2 female, 1 male. They are great animals, all well adjusted loving cats. I have a place in my heart for all animals/cats, but tuxes are very special to me! You should do a vid on tortoise shell's they are very beautiful and amazing as well, come to think of it, all cats are 😅.

My Tucker (Tux for short) is sooooooo smart. He’s the smartest car I’ve ever had. And he is VERY attached to me. We got him from a rescue. He was 4 months old and I got him as a Christmas present. I actually picked him out from a picture online. They had named him Sherlock bc he was so curious! He can be quite manipulative. He has stolen the treat bag a few times bc he figured out how to open drawers. One time he was mad that I wasn’t coming out of the bedroom so he got an ornament off of the Christmas tree and batted it over to my door and played with it. If he’s not getting attention he will use his nails on the couch. He knows his name and the word treats and night night. If I say night night he knows it’s time for bed (we don’t let him sleep in the bedroom) so he will go hide under our bed so he can stay lol. He is the light of my life and I love him so much. I can’t imagine not having him. 🥰🥰🥰
