How We Accidentally Adopted 6 Black and White Cats (Repost with Music) (Please Read Description!)

This is a repost of a video from last year because the music on the original got messed up. We are doing a bit better financially now and we turned off the GoFundMe a long time ago.

JARVIS' FUR: Jarvis got into a bad state for a while due to stress with our ginger cat and the dry food we were feeding him. We tried hard to clip and comb his mats ourselves since we could find no one who would trim Persians. Then we found a wonderful lady who shaved him around last May. We changed his diet completely and voila! He is like a new cat! His fur has grown in, it's silky smooth & doesn't matt anymore! @@bethhivley2633 : I've neutered 43 cats in my two block area in the last 3 years. A pregnant cat arrived at my feral colony down the street about 3 weeks ago. She's had her kittens. I'll get her spayed as soon as the kittens are old enough.

I know how cost goes. I have six cats and one dog. I've cut my cost by using pine pellets as litter from TSC and making their food by using pre vitamin mix from a holistic vet. I really like it now because I control what they eat instead of relying on a company to make horrible food.

Bless u. My little black and white boy "Seth Vladimir" lost his mum and siblings.....u don't wana know 😔 and he was heaven sent to us and we just love him and always will. He snuggles into me every night on the bed and is my child like ALL our fluffy kids. Nothing quite like a bunny foot in the ribs at 3am ......such a comfort and so cuuuute!!! I received my daughter's kitten after checking on craigslist.she posted like 6 different kittens,free to a good home.eating crunchies drinking using the litter box and 6 weeks old.we drove through a snowstorm. That took an extra travel time.he was really tiny plus still had his blue eyes.fwr to the vet who said only 3 weeks old,so we got him a week earlier so he was only 2 weeks old! mmmnope! Not giving him back.hes our baby.hes 12yrs old now so I must be doing ok.my other one passed away on easter sunday in my arms❤❤❤

Absolutely delightful!! Kitties are awesome creatures. I have 4, plus take care of my son's 2 cats and I wouldn't change that for anything. My son's are named Skar, a 17-year-old Norwegian Forest cat and BooBoo, a ginger who acts almost human sometimes. Mine are Noodle, a space case Siamese mix; Yuki, a tortoise shell tabby who thinks she's the boss of EVERYBODY in the house, feline AND human; Penguin, a tuxedo whose favorite thing to do is head bonk me and his son Joey, also a tuxedo. Joey is a gorgeous cat with fur like silk and can hear the opening of a treat bag even when he's in deep sleep mode. Thank you for taking in your precious furbabies and sharing their stories. #kittehsrule!

Their ginger cat could do with a seriously good grooming on a regular basis. It can't possibly be comfortable for the poor wee man to have such a matted coat. I've cut terrible matting out of a neighbour's cat's coat, and Taniwha really seemed to appreciate it. His owner/s eventually seemed to notice that his matting was slowly being cut out and when he returned to me to be fed since his owner/s weren't doing so, they had taken the hint, cutting the last mat out of his tail before I had a chance to do so. With proper nutrition and grooming, Taniwha's coat regrew into a beautiful black and white long furred four-legged rug.

I think that most of the expensive food is highly overrated since most of it contains nearly the same ingredients. Hope for the best but realize you can't save them all, sadly 😢

I rescued a litter in July. I had been feeding the Mama when I saw she was pregnant. She brought or they followed her to my house. They were like 3 or 4 weeks. There are 5, i have found a home for 2 of them. I'm keeping 2. So I have 1 left to find a home for. It's been tough physically and financially. I'm on disability. But I wouldn't change any of it. These babies have been a joy to help. I do loathe people who abandon animals. I hope there is a special place in hell for them.

I had five cats given to me at separate times. I’m soft when it comes to animals . I managed to feed them all but unfortunately after a few years they passed and went to kitty heaven. I loved and miss them all. I now have a ginger Tom called George, he was given to me also. Wasn’t sure if I was ready for another cat but he stole my heart and is such a happy loving little man. Lovely story really, I have an adopted senior 'grey tux' which drew me here. But oh my, poor Jarvis's coat!!! @1:50 So much matting (can hurt). @11:16 he has had to be shaved, so relieved. The breed requires at least weekly maintenance on the coat; unlike the brigade. (I also watch cat grooming vids, no judge, it happens;) Hope he will never get like that again, as do u, I'm sure. 🙏 Wish you best of luck with the adorbs b&w family and all the menagerie!✌

You should trim back Jarvis if you can't stay on top of that coat and matting. Mats that aren't looked after can end up pulling on the skin, plus the cat can't wash the area properly.

This is going to sound a bit counter-intuitive, but if you and a bunch of family members bought a small farm property or acreage within commuting distance, someplace with internet for people maybe staying there while telecommuting or tele-schooling, you could keep your monthly costs really low. Tents, etc. Then plant food. Chickens and pigs are easy, grow fast and would help feed your cats. Bug-out seed bags are about $35 and give 22,000 lbs of vegetable food. The easy high volume foods after your needs could be donated to homeless shelters to give a fair market tax rebate. (this is the difference between growing for yourself or growing to donate. Selling means you need to find a buyer and that is harder than a charity that will come get the food. Maybe would even help harvest or care for it) All expenses are only deductible if there is a reasonable chance of profit but by covering your own food costs, the tax rebate (assuming you have a taxable income from a day job) and other people to help split the labor that will cover your costs for the cats and more. The food created, this is like inventory, so it is not taxable as income. You can also put real estate or corporate shares (easiest way to share ownership) in your IRA so any growth in shares is shelter during deemed or actual change of ownership.

I've had cats my entire life because my dad adored them. I never knew that my mom was technically allergic to them, and apparently, she never told my dad when she found out. It also turns out that I'm also allergic. I told my allergist that I'll get shots for the rest of my life because I have a giant mushy soft spot for animals. There's no way I'll be able to never adopt another cat. Plus, I don't adopt them. They just show up in my life and make their way into my home. I've currently got an orange boy who likes sleeping on the warm brick of my front porch, and I'm trying to resist the urge to bring him in. (He'll disappear for a couple of weeks but is very obviously well-fed by others in the neighborhood, so I think he's just become an unofficial community cat at this point and drifts around.) He just laughed and said that he understood. He's allergic to dogs and has 4 of them. Cats get a bad rep for being aloof and uncaring, but they definitely care. We've got 3 cats right now (2 girls and 1 boy). 1 of the girls and the boy are littermates, are both on (different) special needs diets, and are older than the 3rd by a couple of years. The other, younger girl, who hasn't been fully introduced to the other two yet, is my baby and a tortie. The tortie will make her way under the covers while I sleep. Before I moved back home, I had to go on a work trip for a month so my mom would drive over to my apartment every day to make sure she had water and food and scoop her litter. The day that I came back, that cat climbed up my legs and back, rubbed her face against mine, and would not leave my shoulders for anything. Similarly, my mom is the older girl's favorite human, and if my mom goes on vacation, she will be an absolute hellion for a few days until my mom comes back. The boy is skittish, but he loves anyone who'll scratch his little head. He's not declawed or anything, but he's only ever hurt a human once (me), and it was an accident. He felt so bad for days and thought that I was mad. (I wasn't. Kinda my mistake, honestly. He was hungry, I was absent mindedly petting him, and i guess the bandaid on my finger had a strong enough smell that he didn't recognize it as my finger. My guess is that he saw it as a stick or something. Cronch.) Cats absolutely have a sense of family, and I love that you're giving these babies the chance to experience that fully. I can't donate at the moment, but once I finally get a job again, imma help make those cats fat. 😉😹

I'm a senior. My son was demolishing an old barn and found a kitten about 10 weeks old. The farmer said he would drown her and my said he'd take it and brought it to me and said he'd find it a home. She looks like your black and white kittens. Anyway, about 2 months later, he told me he found her a home. I said cool, find them another cat, this little girl isn't going anywhere. That was 8 years ago. She is the best girlfriend anyone could have. She has many names. Depends on my mood or what kind of trouble she got into and how annoying she is looking for attention lol. Every morning at day break, I get a paw rubbing across my cheek. Never with her claws. Then sits beside my chair at her treat dish and has that while I have my coffee. Never ever thought I'd ever get that attached to a cat. I always had dogs.

I adopted a very friendly black female who was heavily pregnant. She roamed the property at my sister's neighborhood. I brought her home 3 Oct 2021 and on 8 Oct she gave birth to 4 beautiful kittens. I kept all of them and they just turned 2 yrs old. They love their mama cat and she loves them. I hope you can get some help to keep them together. ❤️🐈‍⬛❤️

I have 29 beautiful fur babies... Most have a disability and were abandoned on state game lands and either had kittens or were prego....i found homes for 32 of them and could not for the disabled lovelys. ..so i kept them and its hard but i love them all ...blind...3 leggeds ,no tails ,no teeth or nubs for feet..there all adorable 🥰...love ur story.❤
