@Sub four no reason I already have a cheap smartwatch, no specific branding and bought from a local online selling app. It's about the same price when I bought it way back 2015 and I regret buying it. Come 2021, the strap finally gave up and was broke in 2 pieces. Tried to find a replacement for it online but I found none. This one, mi band 6 is worth every penny! This can track everything and I find it very very helpful especially nowadays we are in lockdown and blood oxygen is very important. Unlike my old smart watch, that can only do remote shutter control on my phone, heart rate monitoring and control my music playback, the said smart watch is nowhere near MiBand6!

I really like Mi Band 6, but I really am confused whether to upgrade from my Mi Band 4 or not. I bought Mi Band 4 in May, 2020 and at that time I didn't know that Mi Band 5 was around the corner. The Mi Band 4 has a very small screen which I don't like but at the same time, it can do over 50% of what the Mi Band 6 can do.

Nah fam..if you look thru a comparison between mi band 4/5/6.. 4 easily bypass 5 and does a lot of what 6 does..from what I have seen, people are happy with 4 and are waiting for 7 which I feel like will be a real upgrade..I suggest you do the same

Do both Apps have same features even if the presentation on each App is different? Do both Apps receive the same firmware updates? Can the same Mi Band 6 pair alternating between both apps? Hi, Great video. Is there a way to do a continuous heart rate monitoring during a given exercise? An example would be to do elliptical for 30 minutes at 80 % heart rate. It would be nice to be able to monitor this on a continuous basis till the end of the exercise so that you know if you need to add or decrease intensity at any given time for the duration of exercise. tks

Initially the Bluetooth should be enabled on the phone to pair. You can disable it but no data will be synced until the BT is enabled.

Theres one big problem in these Xiaomi Fitness Trackers. If your band is on workout mode, you're stuck at this mode and you cannot go back to the main menu anymore unless you end the workout. Eg: if i'm on a workout, i cannot use the band to control the music on my phone. I wonder why no reviewers ever mention this flaw before.

I have a Mi Band6 it is OK for walking but forget it if you want to use it during spin training like Zwift because it is terrible at reading heart rate and even worse if you use it for cycling outside or weight training. This all means the health statistics really are a waste of time. That said after a year of use I like mine as a light weight time piece and step tracker which it is good at doing.

It does not have nfc on it. There's an nfc version but only works in China but only works for public transportation.

I've seen an NFC version in the UK, however it only works with MasterCard debit...and a bank called curve here?? It's £50 (non NFC is £40) and considering that it's not really compatible with main banks in the UK, I won't be getting it

This is sport result app and very important to me, but is not working. I try to unpair device, then pair and again and again and nothing happened to worked. MAJOR ISSUE with this device is ultrasmall area of spring loaded magnetic charging contacts. Mine was great for 2-3 weeks then became unchargeable, even after cleaning contacts with alcohol.This type of issue is not picked up in standard reviews like this. AVOID, my friends.
