I did this but when I selected recovery mode I just got a screen that says no command

OK for some reason mine wouldn't take my screen lock today?? I done this and didn't work. It did until I got to command if I press up it just went back to recovery option. So I press down and power Sametime and that seem to work. I couldn't believe how fast it erased the data I thought I done something wrong so I done it twice and no I done it right. So if anyone can't get volume up to work try volume down.

If pressing volume up and power button doesnt work to get to the factory reset/ delete all data, then try doing volume up, volume down, and power, click all 3 times. If this dont work then try doing volume down and power button. It does work it just takes a couple tries, I've tried and almost quit but got it to work after a while of messing around with the buttons to see what method works
