I work for the distributor for allagash in southern Maine. It's really awesome to watch a video of the product I stock on a daily basis. Love the video!!! You got a sub!!!

How can you not get into craft beer listening to the pure joy and happiness of Bob's voice when he talks about the beer and buying local etc. The world needs more people like that.

Allagash holds such a fond memory in our hearts. We try to visit them twice a year on vacations (thanks covid) and every time we do we're amazed by how nearly everyone who works there that we meet is just so passionate and positive. We have friends who used to work next door to them in the early days that have nothing but fond stories of them. We've had random encounters with staff from Allagash outside the brewery that has been overwhelmingly positive which just makes you think they are really good at hiring the right people. And the one tour we took was with Bob himself and it was the best tour we ever had. When we travel we have started to take our local beers with us and share them with others who we think would appreciate the gesture. I have several right now that I'm dying to share with Allagash if we can ever safely travel again.

As someone that doesn't really like Belgian wits, White truly is a fantastic beer. Curieux is also such an interesting beer; would love to get my hands on more of their wild stuff.

Moved here because of Allagash and Maine's beauty. There are so many breweries, but this is THE LEGEND. NE IPA? Dime a dozen. This is timeless, executed perfectly, and the vision/fundamental ethics of Allagash thanks to Rob is what matters above all else. This is art.

Another great video. Can’t beat a Belgian Whit. Really refreshing to hear brewers talking about brewing so passionately. Also to hear about innovations so long into their brewing history. Keep em coming please.

Another great video. Allagash White came around in a time where the best beer I could find was at a shop in the middle of nowhere south of Allentown, PA that had stacks of cases of cage-corked Belgian Abbey Ales at 30-50 late 80’s dollars. I remember thinking wow! an American wit! Still amazing today, gotta go find a six now...

Looks like I'm 3 years late to the comments, but just wanted to say that I loved the full documentary as well as the extra footage here from Allagash. I really enjoyed seeing an outside perspective on my local beer scene (I live about a mile from Allagash, and drive by it almost every day). Allagash is definitely a great story, and White has clearly become the standard bearer for Maine beer, but I'm actually not a witbier fan and much prefer their 16 Counties (golden ale), River Trip (pale ale), and North Sky (stout) offerings.

Thanks so much! All three of those beers are also amazing, especially 16 Counties.

When I first moved to New England in 2013 and found a job in my local brewery..making mostly DIPAs and NEIPAs (obvs) I asked the head brewer what he liked to drink and without hesitation he said "Allagash White is my desert island beer". I thought that was a bit dramatic but he brought a 4 pack in and we tasted through it and by the end of the tins I realised he was not being dramatic at all and that it was and is a total babe of a beer.

Just started drinking Belgian beers just for a change from the IPAs. Never had Allagash white mostly because I prefer the dark belgian style. Allagash black is my favorite. Keep up the good work. Great video!
