"a cup of drunkenness" This doesn't sound good. Nothing holy should be compared to an unholy thing. Judah is gone, it doesn't exist anymore, so this prophecy seems a little out of date. Maybe it was referring to an earlier time? "all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces" Tell that to the Romans. They destroyed Israel and the second temple and they continue today as the seat of Christianity. "though all nations of the earth are gathered against it" Hamas is all nations now? Israel is supported by the beast system, they aren't attacking it. But Israel is going to be the seat of the anti-Christ and be destroyed along with all of the people who support the anti-Christ and his "cup of drunkeness".

I'm torn on Israel. Obviously they reject our Lord, which isn't great. But on the other hand, the Bible prophesied the resurrection of Israel, that it would be God's doing, and it seems that is indeed what happened last century, which means the current state of Israel is a divine work-in-progress, which Christians should probably support. Also, Israel was created by the Christian British, which means its establishment was an act of Christians, and perhaps guided by the Holy Spirit. But also, supporting Israel feels somehow... off, as they are not Christians and still in rebellion. Better Jews than Muslims, I suppose, but either way, not an easy situation for a Christian to navigate.
