@@baridezzzthe person in the video is saying that what matters in this dunya isn’t necessarily to become extremely successful or rich because Allah doesn’t care about that. He doesn’t care how much money you make but what He cares about is what you are as a person. If you want to become a millionaire because Allah placed that desire in your heart but you are not a good person or you do haram on the path of achieving your goal then you failed Allah’s test. So if you want to be successful, you have to be so for the good reasons (helping financially your parents, partaking in building masjids etc). In summary, the desires that we have are tests from Allah and the best way to pass those tests is to stay close to your deen and to keep good intentions while trying to achieve them ! He is also saying that to achieve those goals we must be disciplined as it is by being disciplined that we stay focused on the purpose of what we are doing and that we are able to ignore the worldly temptations

I have been having this desire lately to build a conglomerate which manufactures all the essential products that we need on a daily basis so we dont have to buy products of jews and christians and athiests. We are totally dependent on the west. We use their social media, their cars, their soaps, shampoos & detergents and pretty much everything. We are totally dependent on the west and we need to build entrepreneurial mindset (islamic version of it without usury) that gave the jews the power that they currently enjoy in the world. subhanaallah ive been feeling smilarly recently. the more i see how far haram and riba has infiltrated our lives on both an institution and personal level and how it has become almost inescapable, the more i wish to find a way that we as an ummah can become independant from it. i never took much interest in finance, economics or entrepreneurship before because i saw it as a minefield of haram, but im starting to realise how crucial it is for muslims to be strong in these fields. The treasuries of the heavens and earth belong to Allah alone and He is the best of helpers.

I was always cognizant of the fact that we are so dependant on the West, but it became more and more pronounced since the war started in Gaza, when i actually started trying to find alternatives of daily use products and i couldnt find any. We, as muslims, lost track of our identity centuries back, and we lag behind the rest of the world in every field, including education and entrepreneurship. Islam also encourages business but we teach our children to be job seekers instead of job creators from a very early age. We need to change this mindset. I'm a 14-year-old girl in grade 8. I have been surrounded by friends who are not really good influence. Amazing friends, would do anything for you. But they talk to boys and had boyfriends, I distend myself from them and now I am alone in school and I pray to Allah every prayer I pray Tahajuud as well, I always pray to replace them with very good friends who don't talk to boys as well as are loyal, and care about me. I saw this and need you to hear this. After school i immediately started with university. Everyone finished just I got stuck. It’s good that you are figuring out what you want to do. I didn’t and choose something that doesn’t fulfill my desires. You will start one day and will finish it and then ? We all end up working the job till we die. If you start late it doesn’t really matter.

Another thing you can do is: istighfar. Allah swt promised to give money to those who seek forgiveness. (Surat nuh 10-12) So always seek forgiveness.

Alhumdulilah! This is exactly what I needed. I have been in a cycle of a competitive exam for a few years now and despite giving my all, I somehow failed, twice! I was looking for a sign to continue.
