In the Sahih as well, he (`Adi) narrated (from the Prophet (s. a. w): لَاا تَحْقِرَنَّ مِنَ الْمَعْرُوفِ شَيْيًا وَلَوْ أَنْ تُفْرِغَ مِنْ دَلْوِكَ فِي إِنَاءِ الْمُسْتَسْقِي وَلَوْ أَنْ تَلْقَى أَخَاكَ وَوَجْهُكَ إِلَيْهِ مُنْـبَسِط Do not under rate any good act, even if it is offering drinking water from your bucket to one who is seeking a drink, or meeting your brother with a cheerful face.

My mother wanted a dog, I protested greatly and gave her reasons why I didn’t want this though I just knew they were disliked in Islam and didn’t know of the reason listed in this video nor did I know at the time there saliva on my clothes would mean I have to rub earth on my clothes, am I blamed for having this dog in my home despite my wish to not have it there? Will the angels not guard me in salah when I pray in my home which I have to more often than not as I am 40 minutes away from nearest masjid? Which kind anyone who says this may not be very far it is when I would have to try to make salah 5 times a day, it would be impractical and I could not live my life or let alone work doing this, anyways, will the angels avoid my home despite my wishes to not have this dog?

Slmz...Firstly the Prophets are not dead ..im sure you have seen pious common people who are still fresh in their graves..so how can those that are chosen by Allah Ta'aala as Prophets be consumed by the sand..it is Haraam for the sand to consume their bodies, n making dua at Mazaar Shareef is not worshipping them or asking them for anything or creating partners with Allah but we are asking the pious people to make dua in the court of Allah Ta'aala on our behalf as their duas will be accepted b4 ours ...it's like you go to a Dr for help but your shifa comes from Allah it doesn't mean you are worshipping him...Allah Ta'aala helps us through a Dr for physical health ....n Allah Ta'aala helps us through the pious predecessors for the healthy sole...bcos somtimes some of our soles also suffers with weak Imaan etc...just wanted to clarify these points
