Try fiddling around with the middle pickup or out-of-phase pickup settings

you could also try getting higher gauge strings with the out of phase pickup settings, it will sound a bit more fatter.

Yes I use a Squier Affinity and I have this exact tone, but you also have to fiddle with the amp as well... Try playing on the bridge pick-up and have the amp dialed at Volume- 3 Treble-3 Middle-8 Bass-4 Reverb-4 or 3 or try Volume-3 Treble-7 Middle-4 Bass-6 Reverb-4 or 3
