Generally, the teachings of Islam don't make sense, and in certain occasions, some are worse than others. Here is a hadith that talks about how sperm will be ejaculating from the throne of Allah. We hear Mufti Abu Layth's take on this, as well as Yasir Qadhi's general views on why hadith should not be rejected. Overall, it is rationality versus blindly accepting.

I'm saying based on quran and hadith. In the Quran, Jesus is taken to heaven by God, but no record says mohammd is in heaven, not even the Quran. So if mohmad is in hell then all his followers also maybe end up in hell. There are 26 different arabic versions of quran( u can google it), which one is real?, means it's not word of God. Mohammd has disobeyed all commandments of God, which means he disobeyed God himself. Mohammd has killed, raped, did child marriage, married his sons wife, owned sex slaves and so on. Mohammd drastically died from poison by Jewish woman, a very normal human. Even God didn't warn him and mohammd can't predict his future. Mohammd can't predict his own future, how will he predict his followers future? Jesus predicted his death and resurrection, that happened. Jesus himself said he is the Son of God. Jesus said he will be next to his father in heaven. Jesus has done godly miracles like giving life to dead bodies and many similar ones.

@@danielbeattie4186 The Quran acknowledges the virgin status of Mary, but then explains away the miracle in Surah 19 by saying Allah does miracles it's easy for Him ... the reason for the miracle is bypassed. It was a sign, something Mohammed assures elsewhere in the Quran, that if we ignore them, Allah's judgement will be on us. A sign that Jesus is not just human, but the Word of God made flesh. It's easy for Allah to do miracles, but then when people require Mohammed to do miracles to show his authenticity, he comes up with the excuse that former generations ignored them, so Allah is not going to do it for them. Over in the UK in Mohammed's time, we had quite a lot of "saints" doing miracles, also they were reasoning with the powerful to end slavery, which Mohammed has Allah allow for him.

@@ChiefShaddy True technically speaking the “sperm bank” doesn’t violate any law of logic. Which is why I didn’t focus on that story specifically. I was more speaking on the general concept that it seems the Muslims were saying they don’t need to worry if something is not reasonable in the teachings of Islam. So if this is a principle, or an ok attitude to have, in Islam then they shouldn’t reject the Trinity solely on the basis it’s not reasonable to them. It seems the only leg they can stand on is it’s not a teaching of Muhammad, the Quran, or the accepted Hadiths.

For example for king David, they call him a prophet, but they will say “there is no way a prophet of God would scheme a murder or commit adultry, so obviously the Bible story about king David is corrupted.” But at same time try to reason through all the garbage Muhammad did. They can’t say the story of Muhammad is corrupted because all we know of him comes from their sacred scriptures and accepted Hadiths. So sure they can think but it’s in a very small bubble that they can’t even defend the small bubble they are reasoning from.

I'm saying based on quran and hadith. In the Quran, Jesus is taken to heaven by God, but no record says mohammd is in heaven, not even the Quran. So if mohmad is in hell then all his followers also maybe end up in hell. There are 26 different arabic versions of quran( u can google it), which one is real?, means it's not word of God. Mohammd has disobeyed all commandments of God, which means he disobeyed God himself. Mohammd has killed, raped, did child marriage, married his sons wife, owned sex slaves and so on. Mohammd drastically died from poison by Jewish woman, a very normal human. Even God didn't warn him and mohammd can't predict his future. Mohammd can't predict his own future, how will he predict his followers future? Jesus predicted his death and resurrection, that happened. Jesus himself said he is the Son of God. Jesus said he will be next to his father in heaven. Jesus has done godly miracles like giving life to dead bodies and many similar ones.

It's interesting to me, I can see from the secular perspective how they would compare us to muslims about faith and reason. As Christians we hold that faith doesn't come by reason. The camp of Israel did not by reason look upon the bronze serpent in the wilderness to be healed but by faith. Paul said in Ephesians 2 that we are saved by grace through faith and this is _not of yourselves,_ and the Lord Himself told Peter upon his confession that he couldn't have understood or known that Christ is the Son of the living God, _not through flesh and blood_ but our Father in Heaven. However God is truth and in no way does He conflict with reason. He doesn't tell us to abandon reason, He tells us to come as we are, doubtful, questioning, confused, even hurt and feeling betrayed by God for He provides the answers in His Word. It's the kind of mistake someone makes when hearing about Thomas the Doubter where Jesus says we are more blessed because we believe without having to see as though our faith is blind. No it is that we have faith even though we do not see. Islam on the other hand very much is demanding you believe what you're told without question. That you blindly accept the teachings of Muhammad and the Quran. It demands that you place trust in nothing because even as Abu Bakr said if he had 1 foot in paradise he'd fear Allah's deception. Jesus promised that whoever comes to Him comes to the Father and in no wise shall He ever cast out. My reasoning does not conflict with my faith. I place my trust in God. Though my reasoning does not inform my faith, by the grace of God it supports my faith.
