Do more in Dhul Hijjah, do more of the following actions in Dhul Hijjah in order to Please the almighty and increase your good deeds; 1. Do more sadaqa. 2. Do more deeds according to the Sunnah of the Prophet (SAWS) for example: drinking a cup of water thrice instead of once while sitting as like our Prophet (SAWS) did. 3. Saying Morning Adhkar(after fajr time) and the night adhkar (after asr time). 4. Read more Quran and more Dhikr. 5. Remove obstacles from the road. 6. Feed animals and treat them kindly. 7. Obtain ties of kinship. 8. Pray in congregation and remember to do the Sunnahs or voluntary prayers. 9. Do more duaa and seek repentance. 10. Remember to do tahajud or night prayer. 11. help others people if they need help. 12. And ofcourse fasting

If you cant even fast those days than make sure to fast on the day of arafat. The first day of dhul-hijjah will commence on Wednesday july 22. The day of arafat will commence on Thursday July 30th. Eid al adha will commence on Friday July 31. Take advantage of these blessed days. Read Quran, fast, say the takbir loud, pray extra prayers and give charity. The most beloved deeds to Allah are on these ten blessed days of dhul hijjah. May Allah accept our deeds on the first ten days of dhul hijjah. Wallahi any act of worship on these ten blessed days brings great rewards

1.Subhan Allahi wa bi Hamdi, SubhanAllahi’l Adheem" "Glory be to Allah and Praise be to Him, the Greatest, is free from imperfection". "The Prophet (ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa- ala ālihi wa-sallam) said, there are two phrases, which are beloved of the Most Merciful Allah, light on the tongue, yet heavy on the scale of reward- (Hadith Al Bukhari) 2. Seeking forgiveness by saying "AstaghfurAllah" We are all in constant need of "Allah subhanu wa ta’ala’s forgiveness! "The Prophet (ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa- ala ālihi wa-sallam) used to seek forgiveness 70 times a day, and he was a sinless person." (Hadith Bukhari) Imagine if we used every spare minute we have in one day to say(Astaghfirallah) 3. "La Hawla wa La Quwatta illah billah" There is no power and strength except with Allah. The Prophet(ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa- ala ālihi wa-sallam) said that this is one of the treasures of Paradise. - (Hadith Bukhari) 4. "Surah Fatiha" can be recited in a minute The Prophet (ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa- ala ālihi wa-sallam) said that "Al Fatiha" is a cure for every poison- (Hadith Al Bukhari) 5. "The Darud Ibrahim. Allahuma Salli ala Nabiyina" "Muhammadin-"" O Allah send peace and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad (ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa- ala ālihi wa-sallam) "The Prophet (ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa- ala ālihi wa-sallam) said: He who reads a single darood upon me, Almighty Allah blessed him ten times, he is increased ten times in the stages of Jannah and ten of his sins are forgiven- (Hadith Nisa'i) 6.( Alhamdulilah ) Gratitude is an important virtue! 7. "SubhanAllahi wa bi hamdihi adada khalqihi wa ridaa’ nafsihi wa zeenata arshihi wa midada kalimatihi "- "Allah is free from imperfection and I begin with His praise, as many times as the number of His creatures in accordance with His Good Pleasure, equal to the weight of, His Throne and equal to the ink that may be used in recording the words (for His Praise) Reciting this praise 3 times in the morning will weigh heavier on the scale than doing dhikr from the dawn prayer to forenoon- (Hadith Sahih Muslim) 8. "Subhan Allahi wa bihamdihi" - "Allah is free from imperfection and His is the Praise.. The Prophet (ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa- ala ālihi wa-sallam) said: if these words are recited 100 times a day, one’s sins will be forgiven even if they were equal to the extent of the foam of the ocean- (Hadith Bukhari and Muslim) 9. "Surah Ikhlas" can be recited in a minute,, (Surah 112) It is known to have the merit and reward of reciting 1/3 of the Quran- (Hadith Al Bukhari) Note: this does not serve the purpose of reciting the entire Qur’an rather it is 1/3 in reward,, 10." La illaha illAllah - There is no God but Allah" "If everything in the Seven heavens, besides Allah were placed on a scale and the statement "La illaha illAllah" was placed on the other side of it, the statement would weigh more - (Hadith Ibn Hibban and Hakim) "Make use of every minute that we have! Lest that on the Day of Judgement we regret that one minute we lost, that one deed that could take Us to Jannah! SMALL DHIKR GREAT REWARD 1) اللَّهُمَّ إنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ Allahuma inni as alukal jannah Meaning: Oh Allah, grant me Jannah Reward: say 3 times and Jannah itself will ask Allah to grant you Jannah (Al Tirmidhi 2572) 2) سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ Subhaanallaahi wa bihamdihi Reward: And he who utters: `Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi (Allah is free from imperfection and His is the praise)’ one hundred times a day, his sins will be obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the ocean.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. 3) بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الَْأرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ Bismillaahil-lathee laa yadhurru ma'as-mihi shay'un fil-'ardhi wa laa fis-samaa'i wa Huwas-Samee 'ul- 'Aleem Reward: Recite 3 times. Whoever recites it in the morning will not be afflicted by any calamity before evening, and whoever recites it in the evening will not be overtaken by any calamity before morning. (Abu Dawud 4/323, At-Tirmizi 5/465, Ibn Majah 2/332, Ahmad) 4) حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَآ إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ Hasbiyallaahu laa 'ilaaha 'illaa Huwa 'alayhi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Rabbul-'Arshil-'Adheem Reward: Allah will grant whoever recites this 7 times in the morning or evening whatever he desires from this world or the next. (Ibn As-Sunni (no. 71), Abu Dawud 4/321, Ibn As-Sunni. Quran 9:129) 5) اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِر لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ Allaahumma Anta Rabbee laa ilaaha illaa Anta, khalaqtanee wa anaa 'abduka, wa anaa 'alaa 'ahdika wa wa'dika mas-tata'tu, a'oothu bika min sharri maa sana'tu, aboo'u laka bini'matika 'alayya, wa aboo'u bithanbee faghfir lee fa'innahu laa yaghfiruth-thunooba 'illaa Anta. Reward: Whoever recites this with conviction in the evening and dies during that night shall enter Paradise, and whoever recites it with conviction in the morning and dies during that day shall enter Paradise. (Al-Bukhari 7/150, An-Nasa'i, At-Tirmidhi) 6) Prophet (s.a.w.) said: whoever recties ayatul kursi after every obligatory prayer then nothing stands on his way to paradise except death. (Source: al-Mu’jam al-Kabīr 7406 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani) 7) أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ الَّذِي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْْقَيُّومُ وَ أَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ “Astaghfirullah al-’Azeem al-lazi la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyum wa atubu ilaih ” I seek the forgiveness of Allah the Mighty, Whom there is none worthy of worship except Him, The Living, The Eternal, and I repent unto Him Reward: even if he has committed sins as much as the the foam of an ocean, still he will be forgiven. Hadith No: 1727 From: Sunan Ibn Majah. Chapter 9, The Book of Fasting Narrated/Authority of Ibn Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "There are no days during which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these days," meaning the (first) ten days of Dhul- Hijjah. Abu Hafsah (رضي الله عنه) reported from our Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) that fasting on the day of Arafat erases the sins of the last year and also the year ahead. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.” The people asked, “Not even Jihad for the sake of Allah?” He said, “Not even Jihad for the sake of Allah, except in the case of a man who went out, giving himself and his wealth up for the cause (of Allah), and came back with nothing” - (Bukhari) 6 Ways To Earn Maximum Sawab On The Day of Arafah If You Are Not Going For Hajj 1. Fasting As a part of the five pillars of Islam, fasting is considered very important, even during the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, especially on Arafah. “One who fasts sincerely on the day of Arafah will receive forgiveness of his/her sins for the previous and following year.” - (Kitab Al-Sawm) Sahih Muslim :: Book 6 : Hadith 2603 2. Dhikr - Remembrance of Allah This blessed day is all about doing good deeds which will be highly regarded in the eyes of Allah. Remembering Allah during this day is the best thing to do. Reciting blessed phrases is what Muslims can do throughout this month, especially during the 9th day of Hajj. Recite: “SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi, SubhanAllahil Adheem” (Glory be to Allah and all praise is due to Him). “Two words (subhanAllah wa bihamdihi) are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, and are loved by the Most Merciful One.” - Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) - (Bukhari) 3. Tasbhee, Tahmeed, Takbeer and Tahleel These four adhkaar are to be recited as much as possible on Arafah. Tahleel means “Laa ilaaha il-lal-laah” Tahmeed means “Alhamdulillaah” Tasbeeh means “Subhanallaah”. Takbeer means “Allahu Akbar” 4. Recite and Listen to Quran Kareem Though one should recite Quran on a daily basis, this day holds special importance as every good deed is multiplied and the verses of Quran seek for forgiveness of Allah. Listen to Tafseer lectures, audios from KZbin or recite the Quran yourself. 5. Recite the Dua of Arafah أَفْضَلُ الدُّعَاءِ دُعَاءُ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ وَأَفْضَلُ مَا قُلْتُ أَنَا وَالنَّبِيُّونَ مِنْ قَبْلِي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ المُلكُ ، وَ لَهُ الحَمدُ ، وَ هُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيءٍ قَدِيرٌ “The most excellent dua is the dua on the Day of Arafah, and the best of what I and the prophets before me have said, is “There is nothing that deserves to be worshiped in truth except Allah, He is Alone and has no partner, to Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He is All-Powerful over all things.” (Tirmizi) 6. Spreading The Word of Allah and Being Kind to Everyone Being kind to people, for it is called Haqooq-al-ibaad and one of the very important things Allah has instructed us to do. Sit in a gathering and recite Quran and preach your Islamic knowledge with another. Make food and distribute it amongst the poor and your neighbors. Give loads of Sadqa - of yourself and your family.
