Besides need to keep akhlak good still good Islamic manners no free mixing or drink or eat non halal food able to keep prayer and Ramadsn fasting.. SubhanAllah!! I can relate to this so much. When i moved to Australia from Dubai..It was like an impossible challenge to find work in the construction industry. All my friends were indirectly advising me to take off the Hijab as it doesn't fit in the industry and corporate world, I will face racism, and feel excluded etc. I got the thought to try it so many times..I even tried wearing it loose ..but felt so guilty and uneasy that I decided, If have to get a job, it will be with the hijab on, this is my identity.Allah will find a way, my job is to keep trying. I was also wary of what my daughter would learn from me. Hijab is not just a piece of cloth. Alhamdulillah, Allah did find a way, not just any job but a good one with an Australian company that truly values diversity and also gave me the flexibility to work from home 3 days a week..the Aayah that kept me going was.. "And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out. And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him."

Growing up as a young muslim I contemplated becoming an actress but alhamdulillah that thought didn't stick with me for long because earlier on, I learnt that as a Muslim that not all jobs are appropriate or even permissible for Muslims. She has truly exemplified what it truly is to submit to Allah. We have to choose to please Allah over what we desire. That is the essence of Islam. And we have to be able to see the bigger picture.
