Extraneous and un-Islamic influences coupled with ignorance induce many Muslims to behave like non-Muslims on the days of Eid. They emerge from the month-long Fast of Ramadan with the idea that the happiness of the occasion justifies abandonment of the restraints on the nafs applied in the month of Ramadan. They feel that Eid is a license of fulfilling the sinful desires of the nafs-the desires which were held in control during the month of Ramadan.

Please make dua for me I am isolated yet live with my dysfunctional family in a house with little space of members who gives me untold pain. I am dependant on them even though I'd rather not be. Everytime I try to reach to improve family ties they betray, gaslight, mock, or devalue me - over and over again. And when I try to confront them it is like pouring water down a sieve - they retain nothing and never change. The whole world sees them as normal but I see the truth, but because I am alone my outer family treats me like I am the issue of the family. I am the only neurodivergent member of this house and they treat me like I have no value. Sometimes I feel like I am the one who is doing wrong...I am always thinking what am I doing wrong..I made so many duas to get out of this impossible situation...it has been a decade. Please make dua for me 🙏😢

Yea I get it man I’m scared to go this Eid party at my aunts house scared of not being able to lower my gaze and scared of mixing. This Ramadan I wanted to improve my lowering of the gaze. Thoguh it may have improved outside in public on the phone like on social media I’m struggling but ik I can get better.

Ramadhan bazars seem to be celebrating the holy month displaying a multitude of tempting food for sale and people are crowding at the temptations presented. At end of the fast for the day the amount of unsold food waste is huge.
