An Alpinist is a climber of high mountains, in Alpine style.
阿式登山家是採取阿式攀登攀山的登山家。
Alpine style is a style of mountaineering, which aim at being self-sufficient and moving quickly in the mountains with minimal equipment.
阿式攀登是一種登山方式，旨在以最少的設備自給自足在山上移動，務求減少在攀山的過程中對自然環境所帶來的影響。
Climbing up summits and walls in high mountains, in rocky or icy terrain involves physical, technical and intellectual abilities. Alpinism requires the use of appropriate techniques and specific equipment such as axes and crampons. Knowledge about the natural environment, changing weather conditions, and natural hazards is also essential. Alpinism is also based on aesthetic aspects: alpinists strive for elegant climbing motions, contemplation of the landscape, and harmony with the natural environment.
