@@sebastianarnold7565 I've been working on an album as the main (and only) guitarist in a 3 piece pop punk band, our frontman is on bass. It's an online band but we've been making a lot of progress, the album is pretty much completely written, we're mainly just waiting on our drummer to get his pieces recorded so we can add our parts lol I've played in online bands before and typically they just don't work because you end up with a bunch of lazy people that don't put any effort into it, most people expect everyone to write the music for them and they can just come in and play a few chords and claim they're in a band. But with this band that I've been playing in it's actually working out really well, we've made a lot of progress, We have one song completely recorded, I just have to rerecord a few parts where my timing was off and we're pretty much finished with the first song. I feel like I can go months without speaking to people or having any humans interactions (besides getting through a job) and pay no mind to it. I like the people that I'm close with, but it bothers me with having to talk to people. Most times, I try to come off as an asshole with my jokes so I can't hope they'll keep their distance. All I want to be able to do is be surrounded by music. Abi Zoey I'm 14 and I've recently been diagnosed with anxiety. General and social. I get panic attacks quite often and I get highly embarrassed whenever I'm around people, for no reason. Yesterday, I went up to my maths teacher so he could sign my book, and immediately got self conscious as I could feel the eyes of the whole class on me. My heart was beating a mile a minute and my palms were slick with sweat. I went home later that day, as I was ill, but had a panic attack in the medical room. Anxiety will always be with me, even if I do break out of if, but thanks so much for the help and support. It's highly appreciated. ☺

They didn't create it. They just made the song about it. There was a project called Post Secret. It was started by a guy named Frank Warren. Somehow, All American Rejects heard about it and decided to write a song about it.

I tell her that I've been over her for the long while after our break up, but I'm still genuinely in love with her. She's like a drug to me. I feel this amazing sense of uplifting happiness whenever she texts me, calls me or whenever I'm around her. Whoever is reading this, congrats you were considerate enough to listen to some random guy ramble on about his "one that got away". And I thank you for your time. Been there. Trick is to not care about the future, and help others using your intelligence. If you are good at something, teach others that struggle with it. I do it with math, feels very nice to be able to explain concepts to people that struggle. If you truly are as intelligent as people think, the world doesn't need intelligence, but people who aren't gifted do. Perhaps work as a teacher, or a tutor. I understand what you feel entirely. If you are like me and experience constant thoughts, including multiple trains of thought at once, try meditation.

Hey, I'm just a rando on the internet, but to be honest, finding happiness in making others happy is fine. Chase that feeling. We're not supposed to be isolated, standalone units, we're designed to be in community together. Often people get so caught up in their own sadness that they don't realise helping others can be an amazing way to get out of that spiral. It lets you focus on more than just yourself, it gives you a better perspective, lets you see that you and your own problems aren't the sum total of existence. It sounds like you've half realised this but you're not willing to fully embrace it. You need to learn to love yourself as well, but loving others is no bad thing! Remember, you're never going to be able to hate yourself into being someone that you love. Take some of that joy you find in helping others and apply it to your own life, treat yourself like someone else you're trying to help! And you've gotta share this with people around you. Not everyone, but if you can find a couple of people that genuinely care about you then you should open up. It's scary, but it's also how we deepen and strengthen relationships, by being vulnerable and by sharing not just the good and easy but the hard too. If it's someone who truly cares for you, maybe a close friend or family member, don't write off their empathy for you as pity. It's much more likely genuine heartfelt shared pain and a desire to help/be there for someone they love. We shouldn't try to bear our burdens alone. Let them be there for you, and be there for them. "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." I hope you can keep moving forward friend.

Stay strong buddy and never let anyone take away your happiness! You are great the way you are and you never have to go out of your way to please anyone. Always stay true to yourself and continue to leap over the hardships in life. In case you are not told this in your life let me just tell you that "your happiness matters a lot to me!" You are not alone and you'll always have me by your side wishing you the best in everything that you do. You can always reach out to me if you ever need someone to talk to. Everything will be okay! Hold your head up high and know that you are awesome! Life doesn't always give us what we want but it does give us who we are. Don't ever change who you are unless it is to improve on yourself!

Olivia Engelhardt That’s a pretty amazing thing to do, and it’s hard to find someone like that to help you out. It’s too bad you don’t have that, but you shouldn’t let that be the reason you don’t get help. You just have to reach out and let people know you could use some help, and I’m sure your friends and family would be glad to help

@@kristine6153 Thank you a lot for your kind words ❤️My parents are the only ones that know. I've been going to therapy once a month since march now. But my friends know nothing at all about this stuff. I'm now at a point where I start to understand that friends deserve to know about feelings. But how am I supposed to tell them that I've been lying to them since basically the day I met them. I never trusted them to be strong enough to deal with the stuff I was feeling. I'm scared that they'll be hurt by my actions. Sorry for the rant. Thank you again!! I admire that you care about this. We need more people like you ❤️

I''m not saying I'm not grateful to be an introvert, but if there's a side of it I don't like, that's the fact that I've wasted 19 years just how to impress my parents with my studies.
