I still can't believe that this film scared me so much, as a kid, I refused to see it again for decades. I laugh now but what happened in the cave with the hand was something I just couldn't handle. Thanks Roger.

Here's a weird fact: Paul Julian, the guy who did the title sequence for the film was the voice of Roadrunner!

I love this film. It is my favorite of Corman's monster movies and my #1 pick of films that deserve a remake.

My favorite Corman film, next to "Not of This Earth"! Essential viewing!

I always hold up "Attack of the Crab Monsters" as the perfect B-movie monster movie. It's so delightfully bizarre that I dare anyone to not have fun watching it! Loved Allan Arkush's stories of working with Roger Corman and Chuck Griffith, but now inquiring minds need to know... are there any of those first drafts of Griffith's screenplays lying around somewhere, and if so, where can we read them?

Okay, now you have to go into detail on Chuck's draft of Rock and Roll High School!

Let me summarize by saying that none of it ended up in the movie and we LOVED Chuck and had such high hopes.

AOTCM - it's not THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD, it's not THEM!, it's not THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING MAN, but it was made by pros who took care of business, and remains worth watching at least every year or so. Thanks for this informed appreciation!

I've never seen a Corman movie I didn't enjoy, including this one. And Creature from the Haunted Sea. But I'll risk my reputation by saying that Bucket of Blood and X -- The Man with X-Ray Eyes aren't B-level movies.

Lovely video, very informative, are we ever going to get a blu-ray for Hollywood Boulevard?

There was a Hollywood Blvd Blu Ray about 10 years ago but not many were made. As I watch it I'm always thinking why do I have a digitally perfect copy of a 10 day movie made entirely on short ends & Filipino CRIs and overused Negatives?
