One of the coolest guitars right now is the PGM Mikro! Amazing reach and a very very good sounding guitar !

beautiful work from Enrico here, bringing forth the exquisite chord forms AH was kind enough to share with us, even in this informal demonstration mode .... the sequence from 2:25 to 2:31 is rich and evocative ... thank you, Sir

Actually, he uses his bridge humbucker exclusively for all clean sounds. What your hearing is the top end sound of his Carvin humbucker pick ups: it sounds single -coily on the top end. He NEVER used a single coil pick up for lead or clean.
@italianguitarАй бұрын
sure we all know thtis. but you may be surprised on how many things he did which are a secret during the recordings. anyway the eq surely helps the sound to be very similar to a single coil. pick up was very far from the strings, 250 k volume pot instead 500 makes the sound darker and he used it not at 10 with a .001 rs which make the sound brighter when turned down…my video are more about how to try to achieve a similar sound with what we have available and a single coil sound is going to get a very similar sound with any guitar and amp/di

I think you are right….this clip where he only has a bridge humbucker yet the tone sounds about identical to the studio version……kzbin.info/www/bejne/eHXNk6WNf95gnLMsi=PlgJMXELbRD0DE1q

Your sound seems not just a perfect imitation but a kind of the first step Allan could make)). And could you do a lessson on all these chords? It all sounds really authentic altogether. Thanks a lot!
@italianguitar4 ай бұрын
thank you for your comment! The chords are from Above & Below (The 16 men of tain record). You can find them here and there in youtube. you can also see a lot of live versions from Allan himself and find out the chords watching him , one by one like I did, so you will interiorise them better good luck and have fun

Allan used a combination of the guitar pickup together with the Roland VG synth. That's where that bright sound comes from.
@italianguitar4 ай бұрын
He told me different from it but of course he used the roland in the 90'

@@italianguitar , Ok, then maybe i am wrong.
@italianguitar4 ай бұрын
maybe not mate, sure he did experiment a lot but definitely the first records are similar to what i said as the roland came out later 😊

Incredible tone Enrico ....!!! but if you have to do a lice gig... how you will get these type of great tones..?? can you please make a video with Helix or something... that how you will make a tone both Lead and CLean???
@italianguitarАй бұрын
cheers mate! on pedalboards i just don't have any speakers simulation so that the amp go straight to the PA. rest is the same clean amp head ( i use a Jazz Chorus head simulation on my headrush) parametric eq chorus delay and reverb the same way i use here
@SouvikRoyChowdhuryАй бұрын
@@italianguitar and for the lead amp tone??
@italianguitarАй бұрын
in Headrush Prime I cloned my mesa boogie Rectoverb head with my 2x12 celestion Greenback speakers cabinet using a Sure SM57 microphone. distorted channel and TC parametric eq before the amp. then stereo delay around 350-400ms and plate reverb
I think Alan used just the bridge pickup for clean but yours seems like bridge and middle sound. And I'm pretty sure Alan wouldn't just play clean into a mixer w/o using amps on stage. Here is a vid where you can clearly see he's using one bridge pickup and TWO Carvin amps to get a stereo clean sound on stage.
@italianguitar3 ай бұрын
he was using amps live of course but he told me most pf the time he went straight into the mixer for clean for records.
@TruthSurge3 ай бұрын
@@italianguitar Oh, well, for recording yeah, maybe he did go straight to the mixer but I know live he probably didn't because you don't want a mix person controlling your sound. That's why he's doing all the presets from stage between songs because he needs to hear it on stage like he wants to hear it. Nice playing, by the way!!
