Allan Rayman is a man of few words. He prefers to let his music do the talking for him. So when we brought him into CBC Toronto's Studio 211 we weren't altogether sure what we were going to get. But we were as enchanted as Rayman was engaging. For a little over an hour this man of mystery sat front and centre in the studio and offered up an exclusive acoustic performance - something he had never done before - including songs from his new record, Roadhouse 01.

Can't believe I didn't know Allan Rayman before...I just discovered him recently and I'm digging deep down into all his discography and I'm blown away, so many great songs - his voice and the band are awesome AF! This acoustic is a masterpiece as so the albums! @cbcmusic please bring him on a tour in Australia (including Brisbane! :) and check Bluesfest Festival in Byron Bay (Easter long weekend 2023!), NSW, one of the greatest festivals in the world - they would be a perfect fit for it! This was his first live acoustic concert. You can tell he was still learning the words to the songs and was nervous. But also when he makes a mistake he covers it up with the sounds he makes. Dude is incredibly talented and the only artist I've ever heard of that doesn't want to be famous. I wish to see him in concert one day but he doesn't tour in the states often 😥 He just wants you to feel his music as he feels it ~music is my religion~
