The Larry King I'm thinking that is made for curls!! The gel cast is very famous on the curl community, when it gets hard we "scrunch out" the cast and the hair vas a lovely definition and does not stays hard and ugly. If you have a friend with curly hair lend it to them and see if my hypothesis is right!

Fellow fly-away girl here, I use the Verb Ghost Oil and I love it. It's almost like a dry oil for your hair, it absorbs so nicely but it's never greasy and gives such a beautiful shine. 10/10 recommend.

Here's my theory: elf has a doop product for the face halo called a "cleansing cloud" and they came out with a black and a white version. It says the black pad has "denser fibers help remove long wear makeup" whereas the white one has "softer fibers and works best to remove natural and everyday makeup" ... maybe that's the case with the face halo pads idk

I have the sephora version (~$12) and it's more on the fluffy side and works wonderfully. It also has a pointed end which I find useful for getting into the eye area.

I'm so glad you said something about the face halos! I remembered that you liked them and ordered the pros. I didn't realize there was a difference. I will now order the regular ones because the pro version doesn't work at all.

I have the black and they do soften up and become less cardboard like over time. It’s just takes longer. My complaint about the black is honestly that they’re black! Haha I can’t tell whether they are clean or not. I clean them and then I clean them again and they’re still dirty. So I find the best part about them - hiding dirt is actually their downfall 🤣

You should totally try the Verb leave in conditioner! It has a very very mild and pleasant scent, but it makes such a huge difference for me and it helps big time with frizz without being heavy!

Hey Lan, you probably won’t see this but just fyi. You can use any leave-in conditioner like the Larry King one says you can use it. I personally love using my leave-in right after I shower weather I’m blow drying or air drying, and then on flyaways/to help with frizz on 2/3/4th day hair :)

Omg i completely agree with the black pro halo. I purchased after seeing so many folks rave about the regular...I use it with cleanser and it "works" but it does not even sort of look like the white fluffy one.

Hi Alana! I’ve almost used up a very nice leave-in conditioner you might want to try. It’s by Together Beauty - Whatever Wherever Leave-in Conditioner. It’s vegan, no sulfates, no parabens, no dyes... no synthetic fragrance... a lot of other “no’s”. I got it at Sephora. I also enjoyed the Playa conditioner. Hope you’re enjoying your move to the new place!

I've actually just purchased that briogeo hair mask and I love the scent. I am more partial to the orginal dont despair, repair. Absolutely love it. And the banana shampoo and conditioner. I just love how all their products make my hair feel so healthy!

Yes! I just bought the pro face halos last week and I don’t like it at all. I’ve used the white ones for years and love them. I use them more to remove cleansers and masks as I don’t wear make up very often (I work in childcare, don’t need to glam up for the kids) but the black ones are so thick and weird, the white ones are so much better!

ALLANA!! Face Halo...yesssss, I'm with you! I have both the black pro type and the white. Fibre/fabric texture, not the same. AND... My white face halos wash better. Luckily, I worked out my skin-care regime when I use the black face halo vs the white ones 😆😆. Totally not just you imagining they're different!

My hair thanks you for introducing me to Briogeo. I saw you use that honey mask in a vlog last year and I immediately went out to purchase their products. It changed my hair care. I suffer from thin, fine, and fragile hair. It really made my hair look shinier, softer, and thicker while making it stronger. I loved it so much I bought their products as Christmas gifts for my mom and my sister. The honey one is definitely 10x more potent than their original. The lasting fragrance on my hair is not my favorite, but it's not an offensive smell either.

I have a suggestion for your flyaways.... Use a dryer sheet!! I use a dryer sheet on my hair and editorial models to tame all of my flyaways and static. Give it a whirl, Love you!

Allana, you should try the Briogeo Rosarco leave-in conditioner! 😊 It's one of the few things that helps with smoothing out my hair, making it silky soft and minimizing frizz (even though it is inevitable in excruciatingly humid spots)

Love the Xirena top! Good stuff. I just didn’t have great luck with the Face Halo...period. I never felt clean enough. Hair product rec: Ashley Streicher for R and Co “Suncatcher” and “Watermelon Wave Spray” - they are fantastic and the scent is earthy and yet light.

The Josh Rosebrook Serum Spray is amazing and multi-use (literally does everything) plus it is a green beauty product. I've used it for a while now and I think it is wonderful and also light-weight, and only scented with natural oils :) Think you would love it!

I haven't been wearing much makeup bc its been so hot and it just becomes a mess underneath my mask. What I have used a ton of is pimple stickers . I get so many pimples were my mask is that these stickers have been a life saver (one day I had to wear a mask for 14hrs at work, my skin was pissed after). I also found a brand that is a quarter of the cost of one that is sold at Sephora and just as good.

There are a couple chantecaille products that I’ve fallen in love with after purchasing them during their big sale: a metallic purple eyeliner (which is dark enough to still be natural but it’s still purple and has that sparkle when the light hits it just right) and their cream gelee blush in happy (the most gorgeous color and formula omg. It looks so stunning and lasts allllllll day).

If you are looking for a great leave-in conditioner then I would recommend Davines Oi All-in-one Milk - great product, the whole range is amazing. Worth trying out the normal conditioner too :) x

She’s an incredible celebrity hair stylist who started her own line. She has a number of ranges, but the unscented collection is new. And it’s a super affordable brand - you can even get it at Target!

Try out R+Co they have several types of styling creams some for fine hair as well. My favorite is high dive and I believe they have a lighter version!

if you are looking for a replacement for the hair leave-in, you should try the UNITE 7 Seconds leave-in detangler (don't be put off but the detangler part, the formula is very good for all hair types. It works exxxttreeemmmeeellly well and is very good for sensitive scalp and skin. The scent is very mild as well. I worked at a hair salon and it was a hairdresser and customer favourite.
