Was so surprised how much I loved your natural lips. I have been a subscriber for maybe around 3 years so definitely all I knew was the filler lips and used to really like them and how natural they where. But oh boy I thought you looked so sophisticated with natural lips. Like a model or a rich aristocrat. So crazy. But hey it’s up to you if you get anything done!

A big risk with filler anywhere is vascular occlusion, a very nasty damaging problem. Just make sure you get someone who is experienced and understands facial anatomy. However, any injector, dermatologist or plastic surgeon are all at risk of having it happen to one of their patients. As facial anatomy is very individual. It can happen.

I think its awesome that you share your experience with your lips and botox! While I’m someone who hasn’t had any procedures done nor do I have plans to, I really appreciate you sharing. There were so many things I didn’t know because people don’t share (like bruising and migration). While its not something I do, I feel the same way you do, whatever makes you happy and comfortable in your own skin. It only bothers me when people lie about it. While I know not everyone feels comfortable sharing, the lying bothers me the most.

A colleague of mine used to work with plastic surgery and fillers at a well known clinic. She had multiple experience of fillers migrating and creating multiple cavities especially in the cheeks and under eye. It was during surgery on the face they noticed this mostly on longtime users. Made me think twice if it’s really worth it
@ameliaremillard36752 жыл бұрын
Vascular occlusion is the main concern with lip filler. Basically what it is when the filler blocks a blood vessel causing tissue death because the blood flow is cut off to that tissue. It’s not super likely if your injector knows what they are doing, but it can cause permanent damage to the tissue. If you’re going to get filler know the signs and symptoms of vascular occlusion and if there is any sign of it go back to your practitioner immediately. Also, it is possible for scar tissue to form if you are constantly getting filler too frequently, dissolving frequently, or over-filling. Injection causes a small amount of trauma to the tissue and the body forms scar tissue in response as a protective measure

Video idea 🥰💡 for me atleast, it would be SO helpful to see a side by side of good vs poor base/complexion products or application. I’d so appreciate (suuper) close ups of the under eye product application or on your dry areas kinda showing what you consider a good application vs problems (clinging, patchiness etc). I have dry under eyes and I feel like I can’t get them to look how I want with concealer but I’ve never rlly seen how even my fav influencers’ concealer looks up close- So hard to know if it’s something I’m doing and if I can achieve better!

this is an unsolicited opinion which you will not care about but i'm giving anyway: you are stunning with your natural lips. you have a beautifully refined, sophisticated look and your lips are not small at all! you know when you see the before picture and it's like...ok i totally see why this girl got filler? that's not you! this is from a black girl with huge juicy lips ! imho they don't suit everyone, and you can always, ALWAYS tell. it's impossible to have "natural" lip filler--it's so obvious. botox on the other hand... 💁🏽♀ also, filler for SURE migrates in the face. that is a FACT not a myth !! think about this: if your lip filler migrates, why wouldn't other filler in your face be able to? makes no sense. like on a common sense level lol. the data do not support it because there haven't been studies yet. if you are getting filler anywhere in your face or body, you are a guinea pig. i.e. modern HA fillers have only been around for like 20 years...so, 0 truly extensive and comprehensive long term studies have been performed, which allows doctors to say "migration is a myth! filler's totally safe!" the truth is: we do not know the long term adverse effects of modern HA fillers. get them at your own risk.

I agree. People wouldn't think to get fillers if they weren't comparing themselves to other people they see on TV, magazines or the internet. Even if she had no noticable lips, there's nothing wrong with that. It's going to be really hard for those kinds of people as they get older.

1) your body, your choice…always. Your lips look great both ways and I’m glad you do what’s best for you. 2) when I was 19, I also wanted implants. I developed larger breasts in my late 20s and now I hate them. Button front shirts don’t lay right and everything I wear looks hyper sexual because of it. I wish I could go back to a smaller size without surgery. 3) your mom seems like such a sweet and wonderful person. 4) I would risk death for Meryl. She is just the sweetest lady.

I agree with you regarding beauty procedures, do whatever makes you happy. The problem is when these procedures are pushed into us and when the beauty standards are so strict that we “feel” we “need” to get then done in order to be pretty (specially in young people who are still finding their way). I don’t know, I have a lot of mixed feelings about this
@christyanne83222 жыл бұрын
Same re: mixed feelings. I think about all the different procedures that young me was influenced to want in high school and I’m SO glad I didn’t do any of them. It’s tough because I love KZbin/IG content for other things but hate that I’m bombarded with beauty standards I’m supposed to care about/buy into. If you wait long enough you realize why you wanted it in the first place (whether for yourself or because of someone/something else).

its always wild to me when ppl talk abt "oh my god beauty influencers are so fake, its all filters" when all my og youtube muas are probably the people i see completely barefaced the most often and are the ones that really talk about what goes into routine. the honesty about fillers is so so helpful for us watching, i am a fellow big head and also a very mismatched lip type, i feel like my top lip is completely perpendicular to my face so it's not thin but it looks invisible almost from head on or in pictures. maybe one day when i have a derm i trust i will look into how fillers could change that but i think i would be too scared by how ExTrEmE if i hadn't seen you go through it over years, not just a single video or story. keep doing you and making your great content!

You should keep the grass seeds moist for the first few weeks before they grow. A thin layer of soil on top of the grass seeds and keep it moist. If the ground is hard you might need to airate it first and maybe mix in some sand to improve drainage. And fertilise! Honestly so happy I sold my house last year and don’t have a lawn or garden to tend to this year! 😄

People will always have opinions so do whatever you want to do, I am happy that trends are moving more toward natural beauty vs. the crazy contours and carving of 2015 lol. Good to try and instil in teens that they are beautiful no matter what they look like, & your uniqueness is your superpower.
