Sarma is actually seasonal in most restaurants because you make it with "pickled" or sour cabbage which needs to be in a cold place, and during the summer months it's impossible to keep it cold unless you use a fridge but nobody pickles only one or two cabbages, so it's always in a big container which sits somewhere at the back of the garage or shed. You can make it with store bought sour cabbage, of course but it's not the same, as my mother and everyone else says.

Yes Sarma is seasonal, especially the pickled leaves one, is typically done in the winter for Christmas. It is my absolute favourite too, making me excited for winter 😅

As a person who visits Belgrade frequently and loves it, it was very interesting seeing it through your eyes :) Loved the vlog ❤ Your Serbian was good, keep up the good work. Sarma is seasonal, it’s a winter dish, due to the main ingredient - fermented cabbage. Lingering in restaurants in the Balkans is a cultural thing. The best times are spend around the table 😂

The speaker table- i lol’d for me it was the toilet table. Everywhere we went always shown the table about 4 feet from the bathroom door. With the delightful hum of the dryer and toilet waft as your tuck into your carbonara. Got to the stage where i firmly used to say no toilet table as we were being shown where to sit down😂😂

If this was on a Sunday the entrance to the National Museum is always free on Sundays. Considering Belgrade was bombed many times Kalemegdan is probably not like it was when it was first built, even the so-called Roman well was constructed long after the Romans were gone. We here in Serbia don't appreciate enough that we can access Kalemegdan so freely. And yes sarma is a seasonal thing because the cabbage is pickled later in the year.

I learned this late in life, but for anyone who doesn’t know, to get out fresh blood, rinse clothing in cold water and then pour some hydrogen peroxide on it let sit for a moment then rinse and repeat if needed

On NYX nude beige - the US and Canadian version are different, they are not even the same and both are the "new" version!! US version is not as pink as the Canadian version, but still warmer than the original.

We have the OG Nude Beige back in Romania, we had the pink awful version, but they went back to the old one as everyone complained. May I suggest you go to Vienna, Budapest and then Romania - Cluj-Napoca (we have NYX here with the old version of Nude Beige), Sibiu, Brasov. Sending love! xo

Not sure if it’s the same or close, but Dior has a lip pencil called “Greige Attitude “. Could be close to NYX Nude Beige. I still have my old NYX Nude Beige and use it sparingly.

We have the same friggingg issue with the nyx nude beige in Finland. The testers are always the old RIGHT shade but the ones they sell are not. Believe me, I have bought "a few" to test😭
