Not true. I grew up on Seminary when the store in front of my apartment was owned by Johnny and his son Kip. I went to Whittier elementary, then Frick, ended up at Calvin Simmons before it combined, and then Fremont high. The only thing in the East that brought division was if money was involved. Not women, not different streets, just money. Whether you were from the Dubs to Sobrante park, Foothill, Bancroft, or E 1 4, it was just about money. The West had more people from the South (Louisiana, Mississippi) that's why the slang in the West always ended with "bo". That's like saying Oakland and Richmond was divided. Again, no one was divided unless it concerned money.

People from frisco, west and east, rich, and sometimes EPA. There was no real drama. Now if you're specifically speaking on the youth situation, then that's very different. I'm speaking on the men and women and how we viewed situations as a whole. In the end, it came down to money or lack of respect if something happened to you.
