While many would say his greatest game was the 2nd Lions test in 2005, I feel like the 2015 final was just perfection from Dan Carter.

@@rubendutoit586 I don't think so: this kind of parallels is always though, but you can't compare two flyhalves, without considering also the two scrumhalves and the pack they played with. And the AB's ones were consistently better than the ones JW had to deal with. Taken without context, both DC and JW were the full package: both great kickers for posts and in the open game, great in defense, and very good tactically and at making their backs running. And they both won everything they could, for the national team and at club level. The only thing DC had an edge was his running with the ball, as he was faster and more skilled than JW, but in my opinion a feature not that crucial for a flyhalf. Both exceptional players at pretty much the same level, in my opinion.

Genuinely surprised to see so many fawning comments. Was he the best ever? Yeah, I would say so and I'm English. But guys, two losses on the bounce, probably not going to be seriously tested until the quarters, and that's probably going to be the boks or Ireland. For sure celebrate your heroes, but the timing seems a bit weird to me.

@@knucklesaukuso5086"The most glorious team in the world"? & "Best team ever"? Have you ever journeyed to America 🇺🇸 or Canada 🇨🇦 or Ireland 🇮🇪 or Brazil 🇧🇷. In each of these countries, they Dominate the following more than anywhere else in the world, starting for U.S.A with, American Football, Baseball, Basketball, Lacrosse, Volleyball, NASCAR, Indy500 etc. All unequalled in every other country. For Canada 🇨🇦 we have Wayne Gretzky in Ice Hockey with records unmatched even by Soviet Union standards back when they ruled the world in Ice Hockey. For Ireland 🇮🇪 we have Hurling, Camogie, Skittles & Gaelic Football. All records unequalled. And for Brazil we have Soccer. Pele & Ronaldinho just to name a few players with records unequalled by any other soccer player on the planet. Do you feel pretty stupid yet?😂🤣

The rugby union should be ashamed of some of the half time entertainment they are inflicting on the smattering of spectators they manage to muster at these NPC games. While Robinson and dame patsy are living high off a diminishing hog at the world cup the spectators are subject to garbage which does nothing to draw crowds so badly needed to keep the game alive. The continual trotting out of Neil Diamond for a modern generation to listen to at these games is another crime.
