I just bought two of them, i was searching for videos on them and this came up, the same video that is on the Amazon product page. I was hoping for a more in depth video and one that actually shows it being mounted. I’ll keep looking but this is a good review!!

@@allcheckout I wish I would have seen this cam first… I assume it connects to your phone so another screen is not needed? That would be ideal, the funle takes up a lot of room on the handle bars. Do you have a video on this cam?

I don’t understand how to adjust the picture angle to 110 degrees I’m hoping that will give me a bit of a boom effect. It is very hard to see cars or truck’s behind me a hundred yards or so

Can you get a lead to extend the cable from the camera to the monitor as I am trying to fit it on to my mobility scooter?

Probably it's just a standard 4-pin 3.5mm cable, so it shouldn't be too difficult to find an extension

I bought one on Amazon. Display reluctant to go on, stay on, and finally would not even go on. I haven't even removed the protective screen! Camera worked BEAUTIFUL....but I can't see it. Refunding accepted at Amazon, don't know whether to order another. Is this a problem you have heard before?

Sorry to hear, but thanks for your feedback. Yes it's not super easy to turn on, but also not too difficult. Sometimes I have to press 2 times that it would turn on ... somehow a bit random, but I'd say in 95% it turns on after pressing the on button 2 times ... and never failed completely. Still using it on my bike

I think there is no night vision. Has it been advertised as having night vision? Can't remember, but I'm 99% confident that there's no night vision ....

@@ExcaliVlog They are saying "Color Night vision: The light sensor on the camera will turn on the infrared LED lights at night to provide a clear color night vision image". Weird. Will have to check again. Or maybe it's only in the newest version. I think mine doesn't have that ... but need to double check ...

@@allcheckout interesting, yeah maybe it's an upgraded version come to think of it, I know it dissapeared from stock for a while, a different one appeared which was twice the price, and now this one has returned similar price to last time, I did finally get an email back from the company and they confirmed what you said, its automatic night vision sort of thing, not quite sure if it's a hardware upgrade or just FW though in which case you might be able to update your FW. @@ExcaliVlog Thanks for the update. Just checked in the totally dark garage ... and nope ... no IR assistance. Will go back to my old "Bike Camera with LED Tail Light" (amzn.to/3mD5W5S) which I've been using before. Is a bit more complicated to use, but has many advantages.

I have this kit but the screenis too small. Just finished installing an akaso action camera on the back then ran a hdmi cable to a razer hdmi capture card then to my phone. Nice wide angle image looks sweet on my phone. Can record too. Wast exactly cheap. But cheaper than the apeman cycling rearview camera they sell.

Been using the TEENTOK (amzn.to/3LOiWzK) camera light with recorder for quite some time and will now move back to this solution because the wire sxxxxcks and the Teentok battery can record 6 hours and works also as a light. Have been using it with a cheap $100 rugged phone. Only disadvantage you need to boot up the phone and connect to the camera every time.

Just bought this. I can see behind me way better w my old side mirror. If I used this for rear vision exclusively cars would be on top of me before I saw them coming. It focuses on a wider view than the long view. As far as I can tell it's not adjustable. This is useless for me unless I want to die.

Yeah I've found it depends largely on the angle of the display and the brightness of the natural light. Not the best solution at noon or in darkness. Maybe the TEENTOK cam/backlight the way better solution: amzn.to/3H63aO4
