Cleveland and OKC aren't playing on Christmas Day. The two best teams in the NBA. That's sad. LAL at GS is a game between Western Conference play-in teams with zero chance to advance to the Finals. Christmas day games are a "Popularity Contest"

It's kinda funny how the first 15 games everyone is dissecting schedules and saying records mean nothing if you haven't played anybody, but at some point it is just completely forgotten. Like the Bucks, who went on a winning streak against bad teams but 'look how they've turned their season around'. Ultimately both the Knicks and the Bucks are good teams but it's crazy how the context is thrown out the window after the obsession to open the season

OKC doesn't have anyone that drives ratings. This team was first in the west last year and still was 20th in revenue. Other than them being good, why would they be playing on christmas day if no one wants to buy into them even when they're at their best.

I don't watch the NBA anymore partially because the good commentary and other talent isn't on the network anymore. I used to watch The Jump. Now everything is trash on ESPN. The NFL Live I'd watch sometimes. But now I just watch Inside The NFL because they have the greatest coach of all time on it this season. That's what the NBA needs to do. Get the good people on television again to hype people up.

@@patrickshepherd9489 Yeah, I didn't really mean they should hope for them.....the video just said they've had several good players missing games this year and if they continue to have bad injury luck they could easily fall into the lottery in a stacked West. The worst thing for them would be to limp into the playoffs only to get bounced right away. They would either need a trade like Fox to change their tier completely, or they need 1-2 more years getting good draft picks and some off season free agent moves to build into a good team WITHOUT Wemby, so he can make the difference for them being a contender.

He don't need payback for Embiid scoring output. Wemby needs to play team basketball and try to win the game. The fans of NYC were chanting overrated at Wemby.💯💯

Luka did it on one less shot than Tatum. Tatum made and took more threes. But overall Luka took one less shot from the field. Lukas stat line was highlighted cuz the only other person to record a game like that was MJ. Luka had 3 steals and 2 blks. Tatum had a great game as well obviously.

The NBA wonders why no one watches. Christmas days against trash. The NBA can't figure out why the ratings ate 48% down from 2016. Just look at the teams they are showing. My Lord no one cares. Even fans of their teams probably don't want to watch these horrible matchups. Either old washed-up stars or teams that aren't good. Why doesn't the NBA go dig up the corpse of Wilt and say he's playing on Christmas. It would at least be more interesting. He'd probably play better defense and he's dead.

It's a tough situation for him but ultimately I agree with the point. Hopefully they manage to get him in a better situation quickly so he doesn't get used to settling for 3s. Even if he continues to shoot great imo he should always weaponize that to attack and use it as a counter. Everyone shoots 3s now, not everyone can do what Ant can do.
