The boulders were amazing and also hard. Refreshing to see a final actually being decided by tops and zones instead of everyone getting 3 or 4 tops like the last few finals. Every boulder was topped but nobody got all of them.

I was confused because the move before the zone looks like a downward dyno to me. Which are banned from world cup climbing. So if the dyno wasn´t the move, what was the "intended" beta?

And it IS well thought out, theres nowhere else to go other than the mat bo matter how badly you screw up, actually it'd be a superhuman feat to fly INTO the lower volumes

Beginner question here: are those devices that inhibit the climber from hearing/understanding the audience so they cant get any help? Thanks a lot in advance :)

The competitors aren't supposed to get any outside help (e.g. from coaches) but I think that the audience might sometimes shout instructions that help even though they shouldn't really. Sometimes the cheering gives a hint that you're doing something right.
