This tablet (PRO version) is fantastic. All other 8" tablets are equipped with terrible processors and tiny amounts of RAM that are not sufficient to run even Android, let alone your apps. So if you are suffering with a Lenovo M8 or a Samsung A7 or whatever, this tablet is MANY TIMES faster than the junk you're using. Strangely nobody in the USA talks about this tablet; somehow I found it by accident, probably on Amazon, which is where I ended up buying it. Can''t say enough about how nice it is.

The placement of the USB-C port is a plus though, since this means plug in controllers are viable. Very few 8 inch tablets have these. I just bought the non-pro version for retro gaming.

This is what I wanted the Realme Pad Mini 2 to be. Better processor and higher resolution display. It's the only downside that tablet has. The size, speakers and connectivity is already good enough. I hope Realme update that thing thoroughly. This tablet trades blows with the Realme Pad Mini with only weakness being the speaker. Hopefully, it's a non issue.

Hi Teoh, mine just arrived. But the default theme is very pinky... couldn't find anywhere to change the color scheme of the themes. Did you know where or how to change it?

There shouldn’t be any colour tint regardless of theme. If you’re web browser and white web page is still pink, there might be something wrong with the hardware. Try changing the display settings. Or worst case scenario reset the tablet and see what happens. The screen should not look bad.

He mostly watches KZbin, checks mails, doesn't need much memory and he doesn't really play games. Do you think the non-pro is good enough for him or should we just go for the pro version ? I would've gone with the Pro if there was like much better improvements for just quality of life like better or more speakers, very fast charging or higher resolution 🤔 Hopefully Alldocube does even more models :) Thank you again!

It's virtual ram, it doesn't really make your tablet faster, in fact it might even make it feel slower. 8gb physical ram is more than enough

This is not good at running intensive 3D games that's all. Battery life is good. Screen quality is good. And...... They just released the NFE version with Widevine L1 to play high-res DRM videos from Amazon, Netflix, Disney, etc. I'm currently testing this NFE version and this review you're watching applies to NFE version too. Only other suggestion I want to make is to get wireless earphones to pair with this tablet to get better video watching experience. I recommend Baseus MA10 or Baesus Bowie M2s which are very affordable, can be found on AliExpress too.

It's actually just 8GB RAM. It will use another 8GB from internal storage as RAM if needed. Anyway, 8GB is more than sufficient.

Live notifications work fine on the Alldocube. It's probably some wrong settings with the Lenovo Y700 that's causing the problem.
