Hello there. I have a question and here it goes: how to correctly pronounce names of some States like Arizona, California etc. You clearly say ArEEzona in episodes, but I have heard another version of pronunciation and my brain freaks out. I hope you could settle a beef inside my head around this pronunciation dilemma. Thanks :)

Hi, I know US is a melting pot and nation of immigrants. I am curious how do Americans know the ancestry/origin/race of others based on their names? As far as I know, if someone's last name includes "Sch-", "-stein" or "-berg", they are probably Jewish or have German ancestry. if the last name is like "O'Connor", that's probably Irish name. I think there are patterns of names and typical names of descendant with different ancestries. Do the patterns still apply today as ppl get married and have children with other races after several generations?
