I grew up going to Disney World since I was 10 and have been lucky enough to visit Disneyland twice. I have to say, I just LOVE Disneyland. It's so nostalgic and knowing Walt was there is so special. I didn't know you could walk inside Sleeping Beauty's castle and I was sitting alone, just taking in the astmosphere and saw people going into a door and was like "hmmmm, what's that?" So I walked over there and went inside and was pleasantly surprised to find the castle walk through. It felt so magical since I didn't know about it and I was alone... like I found a hidden treasure!

I've only been to the Magic Kingdom, but this video makes it clear Disneyland is miles above MK for rides, nostalgia, and crowds.

LOVED Disneyland!!!! You hit it, the vibe is so much more relaxed than Florida!! If/when we do it again we will do 2 days in Disneyland, wish we could have done more. Gaston is so much fun to interact with! He was so fun and flirty and full of himself, it was hilarious!! I love the character interactions in CA, I agree, it feels like we're visiting them where they are comfortable and roaming vs FL where the characters are very staged

I'm having so much fun watching this video. Being a California girl, I've been to Disneyland more times than I can count, but I've never been to Florida, so I've never been to Disney World. Watching you two WDW girls enjoy Disneyland for the first time is so fun! This is a great video. I love introducing visiting family & friends to Disneyland for the first time.

Enjoyed this video especially Emma cracking me up when she does her little southern twang on seeing Gaston. I've been to Disneyland so many times it's lost some of it's luster for me personally but I do enjoy watching people get excited for their first time, I remember when I first went how much in awe I felt and seeing other people have the same experience never gets old.

I actually did this last week as a personal challenge. I did all 38 unique attractions once without the aid of Genie+ or Magic Morning. 42 rides in total. I also missed the parade and the fireworks and ate all my meals on the go. 😅

ROTR in Disneyland actually closes early! Can’t wait to do it until the end of the night because it closes at 9 pm due to the line, and Disneyland not wanting to have to keep it open for the line to be gone before closing like other rides.

Hey! Doing a Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood trip is definitely doable and very fun! Just a few words of advice: 1. Go to Universal Studios first. It's about an hour north of Disneyland, and if you do this before DL, you won't be disappointed when you compare. 2. There aren't really any hotels besides the Hilton and Sheraton around Universal. I loved the Hilton, and it was a 10 minute walk to the park, because your already in Universal City (think of it like staying on property in WDW).

You guys went up the wrong ramp for the Tomorrowland Train Station haha. It’s ok, everyone makes that mistake. 😂 In regards to Fantasmic, I like Disneyland’s because of what it had to overcome. The spectacle appears out of nowhere which is how imagination works.

I can’t believe it’s Quincy’s first visit. I grew up there, going 3-5 times a year but haven’t been back since the big close. I live in Arizona now, and I really love the Florida cleanliness, but Anaheim is so much cheaper to pull off, I might just have to keep where I started.

Totally a matter of the individual, but me personally….I tend to pick most of the Disneyland versions over the World versions. Things like Jungle cruise and Dumbo, I pick World. Things like Haunted Mansion and Pirates, I pick land.

I love going to both Disney World and Disneyland. There are different things I love about both. But Space Mt is definitely superior in California. Molly is wrong on that one. I enjoyed this video, but I don't share your views about the Fantasmic show. I've seen both shows in California and Florida. The stadium at Hollywood may have been built for the Fantasmic show, but I think the one in California is grander and superior.

I also think that Disneyland Space mountain is better than Disney World Space Mountain. I'd only gone to Disneyland my whole life and when I finally went to Disney World, I got off Space Mountain disappointed. I couldn't hear the music (which in my opinion adds so much fun), it wasn't very dark so I could see where I was going so there wasn't the same feeling of thrill. Disneyland wins here!

In my opinion, Magic Kingdom isn’t magical at all. It’s stressful. On the other hand Disneyland is truly magical. And I’m not even a Disney fan, just a theme park fan.
