Yeah, that baklava doesn't have cheese. That's the difference between a flogeres baklava and flogeres Flogeres are Greek sweet cheese rolls (sometimes with ham) that are fried. A phyllo baklava like the one you had doesn't have cheese of any kind

Of ALL the things I cannot believe the UK pavilion is serving piccalilli! 🤣 for those who haven’t tried it...imagine smooth English mustard, spices, various pickled veggies (lots of onion!) all smushed together and preserved in a jar. It’s the kind of thing my grandad had on sandwiches and I don’t think I could ever eat it again, it’s very intense!

Us Brits love cheese. We have lots of amazing regional cheeses. One of the things I've missed the most since the C started, is going around markets to sample and buy them! It's also traditional to have a christmas cheese board.

I HATE being lactose intolerant. Cheddar is the only cheese I can eat without running the risk of discomfort. Sometimes I take medicine and take a chance, but yeah, I'm jealous of people who seem to be able to eat anything and everything.

In Japan cheese is actually pretty popular, especially American cheese. Or mochi cheese (chewey stringy cheese). I think the Japan pavilion should do mochi cheese Yakitori. It’s basically the special cheese deep fried on a stick.

Its really crazy how much variety of food epcot has to offer, especially during food and wine festival. As a passholder I like to just go and do what she does, spend the day walking around and just eating and drinking lol. Compared to other parks, or any theme park for that matter, epcot reigns supreme in food and drink.

Always like your videaos,. Even though I am not a big fan of cheese myself, I do like cheesecake though. But the Japanese citrus fruit is pronounced as 'yuzu'. Kind of like 'you' with 'zoo' stuck to it bit the the 'oo' sond is shorter. As graduate with a Japanese major the 'uzu' was a little meh, since you would either have a 'whirlpool'or 'map'' cheesecake ^^; Would be an interesting flavour XD.

That yellow/orange cheese on the Rose & Crown cheese plate is cotswold. It's delicious! Also the queso in La Cava turned me from someone who was "meh" about queso into a lover. I just hadn't had good queso before.

Cheese! You're speaking my language, finally. I 'm a cheese junkie. So is my dog. I will say that I lived in South Korea for awhile and there is not a lot of cheese there just because there are not a lot of cows. When I visited China and Japan...cheese just isn't their thing, not just because of the cow thing but because it doesn't really pair well with a lot of what they cook. A lot of people chalk it up to the fact that people in Asian nations, statistically, are more likely to be lactose intolerant than people who live in other nations. I don't think that's it at all. They LOVE their ice cream. Also, I make my own cheese as a hobby because I love it so much and can tell you that a lot of cheese is either very low in lactose or naturally lactose free because the bacteria that turns the milk into cheese feeds off of the lactose in the milk, which is why a lot of lactose intolerant people can tolerate cheese. My favorite thing to eat when I lived in France was the cheesy potatoes, which actually get their own course on dinner menus there. They deserve it. They're delicious. Too, there is an entire course dedicated to just cheese. I'll take that over dessert any day. My go to lunch while I lived there was mushroom and cheese crepes that I got from this little street stand right across the street from the Orsay. I haven't lived in France for15--actually almost 16--years, and I still get cravings for those crepes. They were so good! One of my favorite cheeses, is actually from Spain, which doesn't even have a World Showcase pavilion--Manchego. A nice glass of wine and some Manchego cheese is my idea of a great night.
