Experiment: How Long Are the Lines in Disney's Hollywood Studios?

Tower of Terror. Slinky Dog Dash. Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. Disney's Hollywood Studios has a LOT of the biggest and best attractions in all of Walt Disney World - but how long are you going to wait for them? Molly is headed to the park to put this question to the test. She'll be sharing tips and tricks for navigating the park as she discovers just how long you could stand in line at this popular park.

I don't know if it's possible but when doing line videos like this it would be great to know the day of the week molly visits. Not the exact date but more 'I'm here on a Wednesday' to give us context - a weekday can be very different to a weekend with lines.

My husband and I watched a lot of AllEars videos to get ready for our first Disney World trip! We actually saw Molly in line on Slinky Dog Dash the day this was recorded, she waved back at us. 😊 Wish we were closer in line so we could've said hi!

Would love to see a day at each park video with a family. Maybe the entire allears family. That will help me estimate times as more than a single rider. I'm sure Breedlove will simulate the little kid who can't keep up, needs frequent breaks, and needs to eat constantly, and when he needs to eat its a special diet.

I'm rethinking this. Mezalizza is so little and giggles a lot. She would make a great kid. Breedlove and Mezalizza (I'm sure I'm spelling that wrong- sorry) could dress in Mickey Mouse Club tee shirts and ears, Quincy as a teen, and Morgan the kindly aunt. That leaves Molly and Allen as mom and dad trying to meet the needs of each age group. I would watch that over and over.

I love this idea... does not even have to be with kids but having 3 or 4 people (all ears teams),.go through their must do's and how you plan the day. To meet the needs of everyone!

Just got back from WDW last thursday, 5 days there. We created our own Scavenger Hunt, a lot based on the things from the AllEars videos...HAD SO MUCH FUN! One of the items was to get a selfie with one of the AllEars crew, extra points for Molly...unfortunately, didn't see her or the other crew. I noticed that at ABC Commissary, it looks like they brought back the pumps for condiments like ketchup? I have to admit, I'm really excited about that, assuming the pumps are back at all quick service spots that used to have them, because I am definitely someone who prefers dipping my fries into ketchup, rather than just drizzling the ketchup from the packets onto the fries

A lot of former cast members over on TikTok are claiming FastPass isn’t coming back. They say that the Disney app serves the same purpose FastPass did, namely crowd control and herding people into the less crowded areas of the park. What are your thoughts on that claim?

Weather delays are usually more for the lightning - as a CM once told me, they can't run when the lightning is (example) say ten miles out. I forget the actual mileage... we were on Mako's line yesterday waiting for the clouds to move away, and it just wouldn't go anywhere. So frustrating. Wasn't raining for over an hour at that point.

I found HS was really the only park where the mobile orders filled up pretty quickly. Because of that, I ordered 4 different mobile orders all at once in the morning, then kept adjusting times for when we needed them. 😂 I ordered blue milk and Ronto wraps in the morning, then backlot for chicken tenders for my kids, then woody’s for a few hours after that. I adjusted a few times, mainly for woody’s lunch box, but it worked out really well!!

We’re on our way back from Disney now. It rained every day of our trip, with the least of it being yesterday, 7/4 in Animal Kingdom. Thankfully, we have the DAS for my son and were able to still ride Slinky Dog twice, Toy Story Mania twice, and Runaway Railway twice (not to mention my son rode Rockin Rollercoaster twice due to rider switch). We also rode Rise, Smuggler’s Run, and Star Tours. Ate a delicious early dinner at Woody’s Lunch Box around 4:30pm then headed back to the resort to swim.

We just got back from the parks. On one of our HS days we were first to ride Slinky in rows 1 and 2. It was super cool to be the first!! Rope drop is definitely worth it!

I was there last week!! Wish I couldve seen you!! I had a great time. Also great tip: do smugglers run in the single rider line!! I went in both times, waited no longer than 10 minutes and i was able to get on with at least 1 other member of my family both times. I was a gunner and an engineer, but my mom and brother (who also did single rider) were both pilots!

Mollie so one of the new perks Disney is offering is getting into Parks a half hour early if you stay at a Disney hotel. Seeing that people are getting into the Parks before the Parks even open. How are they going to implement this?
